Batman: Return To Arkham Has A Date Again…& A Comparison Video

Batman: Return To Arkham

It looks like Batman: Return To Arkham is back on as we have another release date for the collection and a new video showing off the upgrades coming to these Batman Titles

And just like that Batman: Return To Arkham is back on and we have a new date for the collection. Not only that but we have a new video to see just how well Virtuos has upgraded Rocksteady Games‘ titles from where they were. Happy days indeed and a whole lot of Batman Arkham to celebrate with. Let’s get the ball rolling with the big word from Warner Bros. that we will be seeing the collection on October 18th now for the PS4 and Xbox One. Always a great way to get things rolling when it comes to an amazing franchise.

Next up we have a comparison video for Batman: Return To Arkham that shows off the original versions of the titles on the PS3 and how well they have changed over to the PS4. I’m going to go on a limb and say that the same level of detail comes across on the Xbox One version from the Xbox 360 version but we can’t be completely sure as of yet as all we have is everything on the Sony side of the fence. Most likely because of the Batman VR experience coming out around the exact same time. That would be the best guess but no one know but the devs.

Batman: Return To Arkham — Side-by-Side Comparison

Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment announced Batman: Return To Arkham. The new title bundles Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, two of the most critically acclaimed videogames on the last generation of gaming consoles. Both are being remastered for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One using Unreal Engine 4, a first for the award winning Batman: Arkham series. Remastered by Virtuos, this set offers fans a chance to play the first two Batman: Arkham titles including all Game of the Year edition bonus and downloadable content from both games, now with improved graphics, as well as upgraded models, environments, lighting, effects and shaders. Batman: Return To Arkham will be available beginning October 18th for a suggested retail price of $49.99/€49.99/£39.99.

Are you glad to see that Batman: Return To Arkham is coming again or has the shaky launches been a put-off for you up to now? Do you think that the Xbox version will have the same level of detail or better/worse? Do you think the VR experience was part of the reason for the delay in the first place? Let us know and feel free to discuss in the comments below. As more on Batman: Return To Arkham comes out we will have it here so be sure to stay right here on the site for all of that in the near future.
