DOOM Eternal Is Giving Us One Heavy Soundtrack

DOOM Eternal

A new behind the scenes video for DOOM Eternal offers up a fun look at how some of the soundtrack and audio for DOOM Eternal was created

To date, we have seen some fairly heavy and visceral visuals for DOOM Eternal with some heavy music going on in the background. What some of us may not have caught on to is that id Software is using one of those usually overlooked aspects of games to a much better degree. I am talking about the music and audio for the game in terms of much more than the gunshots and demonic grunts that DOOM has always been known for. Now we have a good look at how the teams have captured some of this audio we will be hearing out of our PS4, Switch, Xbox One, or PC on March 23rd here. Get ready for a behind the scenes video to enjoy.

What we have here is a solid look at how some of the heavy metal vocals we are going to hear in DOOM Eternal were put together. Well, more on the choir of singers that were brought in to help capture all of that so it can be mixed down is a satisfying way. Given the pedigree of DOOM when it comes to music in the past years, it is not a surprise that they gathered up a slew of artists to lend their vocals, screams, and growls to the mix of it all. Something that you can see and hear down below. Maybe you will see a few faces or singers you know and then keep an ear out for in the final game. Although it does sound like they will be mixed into the action of it all so well that we will not have all the time needed to pinpoint them specifically.
