Dying Light: The Following

Dying Light is getting even larger now as now with Dying Light: The Following we are getting four community maps to all of the platforms and not just PC

Just when you thought that Dying Light: The Following couldn’t get any larger on all platforms it looks like it is. Maybe you remember back when Techland offered up the developer tools to the PC community and modders went crazy making some awesome stuff? Remember when people like me speculated on if the console players would ever get to see these new maps being built? If you do or you don’t it doesn’t matter as it looks like Dying Light on the PS4 and Xbox One are now going to be getting some of these maps and we have the first four to look at.

As long as you update your copy of Dying Light to the most recent version you will see four new community maps to play in the list. This goes for either form of the game you purchased and all you need to do is have the most recent update installed. If you have all of that then sit back and get ready to experience another great choice based story, an arcade parkour, survival, and horror game in the mix of Dying Light. Not too shabby for the price of FREE as long as you owned the game already…or just now are picking it up.

There isn’t much of a description for each without digging into all of the forums and websites out there but for now we have a nice little trailer showing off these new maps and brief descriptions of each. Have a look and see you in Dying Light: The Following or the core game now.

Dying Light: The Following — Community Map 4-Pack

  • Under the City — a choice-based horror story
  • Climb Down — arcade-style parkour experience
  • The Hunter — survival quest in a horde-infested forest
  • Tee Vee — a visual nightmare best experienced in the dark

What do you think about these new maps for Dying Light? Have you already had the chance to experience them on the PC version or will you be getting your first taste once they hit consoles? Are you glad to see that Techland is keeping this game ever evolving and not leaving it be to make another title? Let us know what you think and discuss away in the comments below. As we get more on any Warner Bros. games or any other video games at that we will have it here. Be sure to keep checking back in so you can stay up to date on all of it.
