Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War’s Voice Cast Is Here & Ready For SDCC

Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War

It’s time to hear who will be joining you on Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War’s quest, aurally, & then maybe meet the Shadow Of War VO cast at SDCC

We can mark this under the “Not A Huge Surprise” list, but Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War will be at SDCC this year and in tow will also be the voice cast for the game that has recently been announced. Of course some of the people from Monolith Productions will also be there to talk about the game, but given the way SDCC is, it will be more about the big names linked to the game and seeing them. Shadow Of War does seem to be pulling in some of the usual folk but also some other big names from the general acting pool as well. You know, because that will help sell the game on October 10th when it finally hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Of course we all knew Troy Baker was heading back to Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War and reprising the Talion role. Not the biggest shocker, but along with Troy will also be Kumail Nanjiani from Silicon Valley, Pollyanna McIntosh who recently joined The Walking Dead, and Laura Bailey who you will know as Supergirl from Injustice 2. All will be there to talk about Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War and just how they contributed and did what they did for the game. Most likely there will be some new gameplay mixed in there, but nothing specific outside of the cast has been discussed so far.

Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War offers a richer, more personal and expansive world full of epic heroes and villains, iconic locations, original enemy types, even more personalities and a new cast of characters with untold stories – brought to life through the expansion of the award-winning Nemesis System.

Where: Room 6BCF, San Diego Convention Center, 111 W. Harbor Dr., San Diego, CA 92101

If you want to see the cast of Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War, you will need a badge to the convention as it is in one of the main halls. I have a feeling that it will be recorded or streamed for those who could not make it out there so be sure to stay tuned into Monolith Productions to see that. If anything, there will be a lot of coverage coming out of SDCC and now we can add Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War right in there; as long as you care about who is the voice behind the character you are attempting to portray in the game. Not the biggest pull for sales, but maybe that is just me.

What do you think of the voice cast for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War as it stands right now? Anything too shocking here or will all of these people truly sell that game for you as you will hear their words so many times for hours on end? Will you be able to attend this live or will you be hoping it is streamed/recorded for later viewing? Let us know down in the comments and the feel free to discuss. For more on Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War though, be sure to stay tuned into the site here as we will keep bringing you more as we get it. Hopefully out of SDCC…
