New Heavy Rain PS4 Screenshots To See How Well The Game Weathered

Heavy Rain

A new set of screenshots for Heavy Rain on the PS4 have surfaced to let us see how well Heavy Rain held up from last gen to next gen

It has barely been a day since we heard that Heavy Rain was hitting the PS4 on March 1st with all of the upgrades. I figured we wouldn’t see any updates or anything until after the PSX this year when Quantic Dream will have a chance to show things off to more fans out there. Looks like I may have been wrong as it looks like we have a few new screenshots for Heavy Rain on the PS4 to show us how well the characters and world are going to make the leap from the PS3 to the PS4. Happy day and more Heavy Rain please!

When Heavy Rain first came out on the PS3 it looked amazing already. Just by these character screens we have here it looks like Quantic Dream is giving us more than a port here. Granted these are most likely promotional shots taken at the height of the scenes in Heavy Rain but they do all look like this game was made for the next gen consoles from the ground up and never released before. Such a day in the age of technology in game we live in right? I’ll stop gushing for now so you can have a look at the latest for Heavy Rain and be the judge for yourself.

While we do have a few new images out there it does look like there is still no info on what will be coming with Heavy Rain when it hits the PS4. I have a feeling it will be a lot of the same items we are getting with Beyond: Two Souls as it would make sense but we can always hope for more. It would be nice to be able to play Heavy Rain in chronological order and maybe there will be a bit more expansion on the DLC that came out for the game the first time but kind of sputtered off. It was such an intense addition to Heavy Rain and then there was nothing more of it.

What are your thoughts on the new images for Heavy Rain we have here? Does it look like Quantic Dream has “upped” their game here or is it just rendering nicer on the better hardware? Do you think this could lead to more DLC for Heavy Rain based on sales? Would you even care for that? Let us know and discuss away in the comments below. When we have more on Heavy Rain to share we will have it here for you so be sure to keep it locked in here for more news and updates.
