Pre-Order TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan & You Could Get Rockin’ Duds

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants In Manhattan

The pre-order bonuses for TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan have been shown off and it looks like the TMNT are getting some cosmetic changes based on where you buy

We are closely approaching the May 24th release date for TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan so of course it is time to hear about the pre-order bonuses that will be available for those fans who want to shell out the cash early. It is an Activision title coming here and you would be daft to think that they wouldn’t pay Platinum Games to pump out some form of DLC for the game. Thankfully they have but sadly all of it is only if you pre-order TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan and also based on where you actually go to pre-order at that. Ah exclusivity…

As of right now there are only two different options to pre-order the game and get this bonus content. GameStop or digitally from your chosen platform’s online store; PSN, Xbox Marketplace, or Steam. Either way you go will get you a batch of cosmetic changes for the TMNT crew and not much more. I guess you can’t really complain too much to get free stuff just for paying early but I know I personally wish the options were swapped when it comes to what each outlet is offering up.

Those who choose to go with their chosen digital option will be gaining access to a batch of Samurai costumes for each of the turtles to wear while they take down The Foot and all of the other horrible things out there. Those who opt to pick up TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan at GameStop will be donning some 80’s rock/hip-hop inspired duds fitting for the franchise’s history. As I mentioned, I’d rather not pay my money to GameStop but I would prefer to have the “Rocker” costumes with Mikey going all Flavor Flav on us all. Anyone out there want to set up a trade?

Those who pre-order Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants In Manhattan from GameStop will receive four unique Rock N Roll costumes for Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo to wear in game, while pre-orders from the PlayStation®Store, Xbox Games Store and Steam will earn four distinctive Samurai skins.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants In Manhattan is a fast and shell-shocking team brawler that pits players against the many menacing minions of the Foot Clan, as well as fan-favorite villains like Shredder, General Krang, Karai, Bebop, Rocksteady, Armaggon, Wingnut and Slash. Protect the streets of New York City alone or with up to four players in online co-op. The game features stylish 3D cel-shaded visuals and an original story with comic attitude from IDW Publishing series author Tom Waltz.

What do you think about the DLC pre-order bonuses here for TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan? Do you favor one look over the other or will your outlet option stick you with a set that you may not want? When will all of the exclusive content just stop for all of these games here? Let us know what you think down in the comments and discuss. For more on Mutants In Manhattan be sure to stay right here. There will be more as we head into May and you won’t want to miss out on a single update.
