Agents Of Mayhem

See the vehicles in Agents Of Mayhem in actions as they give you another way to get around the world of Agents Of Mayhem without just teleporting

So far for Agents Of Mayhem we’ve seen a lot of fun ways to get around the city of Seoul that Volition has crafted for us. A lot of running, a lot of jumping, and a lot of teleportation but that will not be the only way we get around as every good game like this has vehicles of sorts too. This is also the case for Agents Of Mayhem as there is a specific department of the in-game universe that is tasked with giving us all just that. Also to give Deep Silver another great opportunity to give us trailers like the one below that gives a great throwback to vehicles of yore. Or the 80’s. Whichever you want to go with for now.

It may sound odd, but there will be vehicles in Agents Of Mayhem that we can drive around Seoul in and destroy things just as much as we save them. The mayhem part of the name wouldn’t make sense in the game if that wasn’t the case. Right? None the less, it has been crammed in there to give us yet another option to get around Agents Of Mayhem and hopefully save the world and many lives in the process. I’m going to guess that the lives thing isn’t going to happen as well as we all hope though. Or maybe just as well depending on how much insanity we want to cause in the city while getting from one place to another without just taking the easy option. I’ll most likely go with the easy option though.

Agents Of Mayhem is still slated to release on August 15th in North America and 18th everywhere else for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It will bring us yet another great looking third-person, single-player, open world title to plow through and enjoy. At least if anything that Volition has done before is any indicator of what we can expect here as everything has been top-notch for me so far from them. That and even the small slice I’ve already enjoyed for Agents Of Mayhem has been the quality I would expect. We’ll have to wait and see though.

Agents Of Mayhem — Ride For Mayhem

Seoul is a big place. When the Agents aren’t using their teleportation abilities, or climbing up the side of the massive buildings, or using the many construction sites that are repairing the damage done on Devil’s Night to get around the city, the best way to maneuver the streets is by taking one of their fleet of luxury vehicles created by the automotive genius of the ARK, Quartermile.

Quartermile takes his love of luxury cars seriously and treats them with the love and respect they deserve. Like a kid in a candy store in the Mayhem Motor Pool; Quartermile gives gleeful demonstrations of his high security, combat ready vehicles followed by a written test before any Agents are issued with one. He takes it as an insult if Agents are careless with his creations, which they usually are. Just for fun, each car has an AI for Agents to chat with as they drive. After all, who doesn’t love a talking car?

What are your updated thoughts on Agents Of Mayhem with all of this now? Do you think that vehicles and cars like this will add to the overall game or be forced on us even though there have already been set ways to traverse the world? Do you like the overuse of 80s themed stuff that Deep Silver is using for the game or do you think it is trying too hard to tap into nostalgia? Let us know down in the comments and then discuss. For more on Agents Of Mayhem, be sure to stick around here as we will have more on this game as we get ever so closer to the release date. Don’t miss out on a thing.
