Robinson: The Journey
It has just been announced that Robinson: The Journey will be making the jump from PSVR to Oculus so more can enjoy Robinson: The Journey out there
Maybe you’ve had a chance to give Robinson: The Journey a try out when it hit the PS VR system or you were one of the gamers who were hoping for it to leap from the PS4 to another platform. While it originally looked like Crytek was going to make us all wait and only have the chance to experience it all in one place. Well now it looks like the best part of game development has stuck again as Robinson: The Journey will be expanding to the PC and be available on the Oculus Rift sometime in January of Next year. Cross-platform support really needs to be more common than it really is nowadays. At least that is always the true dream out there still.
Anyways, not much else has been stated but I think it will be safe to just assume that Robinson: The Journey will be just the same with maybe some better visuals and a few controls switched up for the Oculus controllers instead of the PS4 ones. At least that would be the safe assumption give the very basics of the following press release and update given. I mean if there was more altered you’d think it would have been explained given that Robinson: The Journey has only a few weeks before it finally hits the new platform. I’m just saying and such…

Crytek announced today that its sci-fi VR adventure, Robinson: The Journey, will launch on Oculus Rift in January.
Leveraging the immersive power of VR, Robinson: The Journey invites players to step into the shoes of Robin – a boy left stranded on an extrasolar planet in the aftermath of a doomed space voyage. Accompanied by AI unit HIGS and baby T-Rex Laika, Robin must use his wits to survive in a world full of adventure, secrets, and breathtaking dinosaurs. Rift players will feel truly present in another reality as they search for fellow survivors and unravel the mystery at the heart of Robin’s journey.
