Wolfenstein: Youngblood

The biggest update for Wolfenstein: Youngblood is here to add in some new maps and enemies for Wolfenstein: Youngblood to keep it fresh

If you have been looking for more to do in Wolfenstein: Youngblood, then your wait is now over as we have one more big update for the game now. One that has just hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions of the game and will be coming to the Switch version when that one finally drops. No, we are not just talking in terms of basic updates and patches that we have seen multiple times over from Machine Games thus far, but an update that adds in a whole lot to this Wolfenstein title. All without having to be paid DLC or part of a season pass of any sort. Yes, that all means that we have a new free bit here for us all to enjoy.

So, if your system is set to auto-download, you will be met with a nice little treat for Wolfenstein: Youngblood as the latest 1.0.7 patch is out there and bringing with it a few new missions and maps to enjoy. As well as a few new skins to don on the terror twins in the game. Least of all to mention some new abilities to unlock and us in Wolfenstein: Youngblood. One of which is the God Key Sense which aims to make it easier for players to locate hidden treasures in the levels. You know, little things like this that we should all be heading back in to replay the game for. Here’s a better breakdown of what is coming so you can figure if you will spend your time or not.

  • New Mission: Treasure Hunt — Studying the artifacts from Lab X has revealed the location of a second Da’at Yichud chamber. The Nazis who have already staked their claim in the chamber have been unable to unlock its secrets, maybe a couple of Nazi-hunting badasses can unlock the mysteries inside? This is an endgame mission with a suggested player level of 40, so players can expect a challenge!
  • New Mission Type: Treasure Maps — Once you tackle the Treasure Hunt mission, players will unlock the ability to see Da’at Yichud Artifacts within the game world. Locating a number of maps scattered about will unveil the location of an artifact, granting players a number of rewards.
  • New Abilities — Whether you take the new Silent Killer ability to stealthily slip back into cover after an assassination or the Resilience ability to be able to shirk off explosive damage, 1.0.7 brings players several new abilities to work into their playstyle.
  • New Enemy Types — Take on the new teleporting Wurmlochsoldat, turret-mounted Turmhund, and the Electrodrohne Tesla drone while you search for the newly revealed Da’at Yichud chamber.

How are you feeling about Wolfenstein: Youngblood after hearing that this update is on its way for us all? Do you think that this new ability will be worth the replay or will you be looking at some of the others to make the game feel fresh again? Are you just going to hold out for the final version to hit the Switch and then not worry about having to get all of the updates and patches? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. If there is more to add to Wolfenstein: Youngblood, we will add it all here.
