Every door that we open might just have a surprise behind it, well, at least that is the idea in the recently announced Project: Doors. A new co-op title from Teletower Studios and Polden Publishing that will put some emphasis on that when the game fully hits the #PC. Especially as it looks like one of the big twists to the game will be that the various doors we open will take us to different worlds, and offer up slightly different experiences for us to partake in. Like a mixture of multiverse hopping mixed with the strangeness of the Backrooms style of things out there. That is the IP that seems to keep on giving out there, although this one does only feel as if it gives slight nods to that. For now, let us dive into what this new game is going to give us.

Get ready to hop through a bit of time one last time, as it looks as if Life Is Strange: #Reunion is taking us further into the IP. Yes, we are getting another title in the series from Deck Nine Games, and this time it is going to be bringing things to a close. I know that is going to upset many of you who might have wanted to see Life Is Strange go on for a lot longer, but after eleven years, it is time to put it all to bed. Something that we will be doing on March 26th on the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, and #PC. So, there is still time to run through all of the other games, as this one is going to bring Max and Chloe’s story to an end. Yes, you read that correctly.

With a title like Loan Shark, one might not think it is a compact psychological horror title, but rather something else. Then again, those who have been following along with Studio Ortica for a bit now would have seen the game drop on the #PC and #XboxSeriesX|S out there, and be a bit more familiar with it all. Well, now we jump to today, January 20th, and the #PS5 gamers out there can finally see what Loan Shark all about. As long as they have been able to pay off whichever one helped them to buy the PS5 back when it was a nightmare to get. You own them all, so you might as well have a good time with them, and here we go with another fun title launching out there for us.

Another bit of psychological horror is running onto our #PC, with a look at House Of Horror: #OutsideIsBetter. A new title on the way from TakenJoyDesign, which looks to use a winning formula in the genre to take us deeper into some darker terror. As long as you actually have the mental endurance to make the run through it all and see what this House Of Horror will behold. Take that as your first warning that something truly dark is going on here, and there are going to be a few graphic things to see. This is a game that shows off psychiatric patients who happen to be the more violent ones out there. Even if that is a rare thing to experience in the mix in the real world…

The launch of REANIMAL is almost here, with February 13th being right around the corner. A corner we are going to need to be ready to round on the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, #Switch2, and #PC when we see Tarsier Studios bringing back their classic style of gameplay. I’m sure we are all ready for it, but that doesn’t mean that THQ Nordic isn’t going to bring us something new to look at to prepare ourselves for REANIMAL. Let’s see just what is on the way in the coming weeks and learn everything that we need to know beforehand. If you’re not going to give the demo out there a play before then. That might be the best way to learn it all.

 

The Run Is Taking Us All For A New Sprint On The PC Soon

Those who have been feeling as if they have been missing out on the fun of The Run given the release platforms out there, well, it looks like the game is finally coming to the #PC. Not just coming to the PC, via Steam, but coming on February 5th. So, lace up those shoes to get ready for what PRM Games has had out there on the mobile devices for a bit. As long as you are in for a crazy FMV horror title, since that is what The Run is designed to be. I know that will turn off some of you, but this one does look as if it is making use of the style and the latest visual techniques to keep the genre running just a little longer. Let’s have a look at it to get fully up to speed.

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of #videogames on the site this week

Well, the week has come to an end once more, and we had some fun with the various video games and films we had announced there. Some big ones like #RERequiem and #PoppyPlaytime had some highlights. Then we had a whole lot of smaller titles in the mix with #Styx: Blades Of Greed, all to wrap with a good look at the upcoming film #TheMortuaryAssistant. Even if it was a shorter one around here, but that is on us and not the various video games out there that had something to add. I mean, some of these even popped off before the week even started, so the blame is definitely on this side of the screen.
