Terry Bogard Enters The Fight In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

The next update for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is here and with it brings the a new Fatal Fury fighter to the Super Smash Bros. world

A new fighter is on his way into Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for those who have picked up the Fighter Pass or purchased the Challenger Pack 4 on the Switch. By now I am certain that you have made the purchase from Nintendo in one way or another, but just in case we are here to give you another reason to be sure to purchase or not. It is why we are here, I guess. None of which changes the fact that the fighter from Fatal Fury is making the leap over to this Super Smash Bros. title and bringing with him all of the normal fun we should expect. That is, as long as you know the character and all the fun that could bring with him.

You can have a look at Terry in action for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in the following video. There is a bit of a lead up to the announcement here and gameplay. Something that is kind of spoiled here as it seems to want to tease his announcement along the way by offering the invite up to all of the other various characters in the aforementioned title too. It is a nice little throwback to the classic games from the arcade age. It is just something I wanted to mention so you are not left wondering what is going on and that this is not for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Have a look and start the download process for the character as you are watching too.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate — Terry Bogard

Get ready, the king of fighters has arrived! For the first time ever, The Legendary Wolf, Terry Bogard from the Fatal Fury series, enters the battle as a playable fighter in the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate game for the Nintendo Switch system. In a new video, Masahiro Sakurai, the director of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, showcased Terry Bogard in action and unveiled the King Of Fighters Stadium stage and 50 music tracks from an assortment of SNK titles, all coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate today. All of this new content will be available to players who own the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighters Pass or purchase Challenger Pack 4 separately.

Terry Bogard’s addition to the roster will inject even more variety into the epic collection of heated battles in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Terry has appeared in more than 80 games spanning the past three decades, first taking the world by storm in 1991 when he pummeled his opponents in the legendary SNK arcade game, Fatal Fury: King Of Fighters. With his trademark ball cap and confident smile, Terry has since grown into a mainstay in the fighting game community and a mascot for SNK.

In a fitting tribute to his NEO GEO roots, Terry Bogard’s move set bridges the classical arcade fighting gameplay of the Fatal Fury series with the signature play style of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. This unique lineage means Terry plays unlike any other fighter on the roster, giving players new opportunities for creative expression through his unmistakable fighting flair. Terry’s introduction to the roster also means the addition of the new King Of Fighters Stadium stage and 50 music tracks from an assortment of SNK titles. Finally, a free update for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate that includes improvements to the Battle Arena, as well as other features, will also be available today.

In addition to Terry for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, we are also getting a few new Mii Costumes in the mix too. Some of which are spanning titles like Samurai Shodown, Virtua Fighter, and King Of Fighters. All of which are more paid DLC for those who want them. You can have a little peek at them in motion here as well. Take a look and see if they will be worth the extra cost for the bit of cosmetics they offer up.
