This Week In Video Games 9/14/26 — 9/18/26

This Week In Video Games 9/14/26 — 9/18/26

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of #videogames on the site this week

It is time to wrap up one more week and dive into all of the video games that we have out there now. This week gave us all a few releases in the gaming space, and we also had the release of the new #ResidentEvilMovie out there, so it has been a rather big one. Then you can toss in the announcements for #ControlResonant and #CallOfDuty: Modern Warfare 4 into the mix. Not to mention the various other video games releasing next week and then Clive Barker’s #HellraiserGame: Revival just after that. As we say around here often, it has been a massive and fun week of things for us all to partake in. Now, we just get to look forward to what is to come in the following weeks as we gear up for #Halloween around here.

Moylo Takes Us Back Into The Classic Era With A New Game Announcement

Moylo Takes Us Back Into The Classic Era With A New Game Announcement

A new hand-drawn video game, Moylo, is on the way to us, and we get to see just what #Moylo is going to look like

There really is something to say about the classics when it comes to animation and game looks, and now we have Moylo in the mix to give us more of that fun rubber hose style to it all. This is a new title on the way from Bugle Duck for the PC, and now that we have the game announced, we can also have a look at the work-in-progress title. A work that has Moylo giving the feel of other titles like Cuphead, but only in animation more than anything. If you know what that’s about, then you are ready for it. If you don’t, well, let’s have a look at where the game is in the cycle and why we should all be excited to see something like this in the works once more. Let’s dive right into it all.

Order 13 Is Fulfilling A Physical Release For Us All Very Soon

Order 13 Is Fulfilling A Physical Release For Us All Very Soon

A physical release is coming for Order 13, and we are going to be able to add one more disc to our lists with #Order13

It should come as little surprise that a game all about shipping physical packages is going to have a physical release now, and here we have it for Order 13. Okay, it is a little surprising after how long the game has been out there, but Cybernetic Walrus and JanduSoft are making certain that we are not going to have fewer physical games out there. Specifically, on the PS5, as this is where the new version of Order 13 will be heading on November 27th. A solid little timeline, given that we are all going to be shipping in new gifts to hand out to loved ones around that time as well. Maybe you will want to gift this title when that all happens, so you can get even more meta with the world out there. We will all have to wait and see, but that does not change the fact that we are getting this physical release out there.

The Walking Dead: Streets Of Survival Is Launching Us Into A New Fight With The Dead

The Walking Dead: Streets Of Survival Is Launching Us Into A New Fight With The Dead

The Walking Dead shambles on, as we have the full launch for #TheWalkingDead: Streets Of Survival hitting today

The IP is walking yet again, as we’re back with the full launch for The Walking Dead: #StreetsOfSurvival on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. So, get your weapons ready to smash in some undead heads and fight the various humans, as Odaclick Game Studio and Trailmark Games bring us a full retelling of the AMC version of the story. Okay, maybe not a full retelling, but a version of The Walking Dead where we play as favorite characters at iconic locations from the TV show. Even if some of them would be beating each other up instead of beating up all of the waves of enemies we’re about to face down in the game. No matter the case, the launch of the game is here, and we can face off with more of the undead as we all hope to. #TWD

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Is Digging In Deep With The New Campaign

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Is Digging In Deep With The New Campaign

A full look at the latest Call Of Duty campaign is here, and we get to see more of what we will be fighting for in #CallOfDuty: Modern Warfare 4

There have been little teases for the campaign that is coming to Call Of Duty: #ModernWarfare4 before now, but here we go with a deeper look at the full story we will have out there. Not only that, but it is going to build on all of the past issues we have seen in the world that Infinity Ward has crafted for us for John Price out there. Even if all of the other story bits we have had before now have placed us deeper into the mix of the Call Of Duty action, this one shows just what may have caused all of that. As long as you are looking to have a little bit of the story spoiled before October 16th, when the full thing will be playable on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. That is your choice to make, and we are going to head right into all of that now. #MW4

Control Resonant Is Launching Us All Into A Twisted Manhattan Now

Control Resonant Is Launching Us All Into A Twisted Manhattan Now

The launch for Control Resonant is almost here, and we have a last look at Control Resonant before we can jump into it

We are now a week away from Control Resonant hitting the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC out there, maybe a little sooner depending on how you went about buying the game, but here we are with one more look at the game to get us all hyped up. Not that Remedy needs to hype us all up too much, as we have all been waiting for September 24th to get here so we can see where the story goes from here. Especially after that nice little recap of the Control line so far, and hints that it will further link into the bigger universe the team has been building up to now. But there are usually a few more stragglers out there who need some goading to pick up their video games, and that is what we are here with one last time.

Head Into The Scarlet Church In The Upcoming Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival

Head Into The Scarlet Church In The Upcoming Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival

Peel back a new look at some antagonists in the Hellraiser universe, with a new look at Clive Barker’s #Hellraiser: Revival

Just when you thought that pain-worshiping gods were going to be enough in Clive Barker’s #HellraiserGame: Revival, we have the next wave of antagonists entering the scene. They are nothing that Saber Interactive has kept fully secret up to now, but we officially have our first look at the Scarlet Church and just what levels of pain they might be bringing to the table out there. They are a cult in the Hellraiser universe that also seems to worship the same levels of pain and depravity that the Cenobites do, so it makes perfect sense. Not to mention, they have their own motivations to stop us along the way to get the new configuration in our hands. Let us have a little look at just what the Scarlet Church is going to bring us in the game when it hits the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC on October 8th.
