Allen The Alien Is Here To Help Build Up To The Beta For Invincible VS

Allen The Alien Is Here To Help Build Up To The Beta For Invincible VS

One more classic Invincible character is on the roster and we are getting an open beta for #InvincibleVS very soon

In another move to give us a character we were all certain was going to be in #Invincible VS, we have the announcement that Allen The Alien is going to be on the roster for the game. This is the sixteenth character, with two more to be announced by Quarter Up and Skybound Games. Given that the game is still hitting the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, and #PC on April 30th, there is still a lot of time to get those out there. For now, let us focus on Allen and what this will bring for Invincible VS. Not just as a character, but this all comes with the announcement that there will be an open beta for the game on all platforms as well. A double punch of info here.

South Of Midnight Is Finally Heading To A Few Other Platforms

South Of Midnight Is Finally Heading To A Few Other Platforms

After a year of waiting, South Of Midnight is heading to a few other consoles and offers up the same haunted fun #SouthOfMidnight had before

It has been a year since South Of Midnight landed on the #XboxSeriesX|S and #PC, with many wondering if the game was going to stay as a console exclusive forever. The game was made by Compulsion Games with Xbox publishing it, so it did seem like it was going to stick to platforms that Microsoft controlled. Thankfully, it only seemed that way, and we live in a world where they all want to grab more money and maybe make other gamers glad. Even if it is a little down the line. All of that is to say, South Of Midnight will be launching on the #PS5 and #Switch2 on March 31th. Only a year later, but still it is making it over there for those who only have one specific way to play their video games out there, or if they have a strong preference for it all.

Head Out Beyond The Oldest House With The Latest For Control Resonant

Head Out Beyond The Oldest House With The Latest For Control Resonant

See how Control Resonant is taking us all a bit further than the original #Control allowed us all to go before

We have been inside The Oldest House quite a bit before, and #ControlResonant aims to take us all outside of that setting. This is all something many would know just from playing the first game, and from what Remedy has shown off during all of the videos we have had since the game was first revealed. Not to mention, we will be playing as the brother and captive character we saw in Control, so it does make sense that they are going out of their way to give us a new setting for the game. As long as it holds up, I think many of us will enjoy it all on the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, and #PC. Which means we need to have a look at how they are taking us out of that setting and giving us something new. That is where the latest behind-the-scenes video for the game comes in. It is all about taking us to a new area, along with the how and why we are doing all of that. Let us dig right in.

The Occultist Has A Final Release Date Ready For Us All

Get ready to join the adventure of The Occultist, as we have a final release date set down for #TheOccultist

It was starting to feel as if we were going to have to wait forever when it came to The Occultist landing on the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, and #PC. We have had a whole lot of fun looks and teases for the game from DALOAR up to now, along with a lot of behind-the-scenes looks at the game. Now, it looks as if the game is ready to hit the streets, and Daedalic Entertainment is ready to ship it out to us all over the place. Not just ready, but ready very soon with The Occultist having a full release on all of those platforms on April 8th. Just about one more month of waiting, and we will get to see what the Godstone has behind its walls.

This Week In Video Games 3/2/26 — 3/6/26

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of #videogames on the site this week

The ride of the week is done, and we have so many video games out there to play and enjoy. Not just games, but a few other tidbits of fun out there in the pop culture sphere. Even if most of you have been here to see the updates for #Directive8020 and #InvincibleVS, more than the things outside of that scope. Maybe it was also the DLC update for #AtomicHeart or the cast updates for #007FirstLight as well. No matter the case, we had a fun week with video games and other things along the way. All so we can relax and get ready to do it all again next week. That is the job, at least.

Order 13 Hires The Console Gamers On To Fill More Orders

Order 13 Hires The Console Gamers On To Fill More Orders

The console release for Order 13 is here, so many more can head into the warehouse with their cat in #Order13

Some of us have been missing out on the dark warehouse simulation game out there with Order 13, but today, so many more can join in the fun and have their “save the cat” moments. That is, the game that Cybernetic Walrus had for the #PC has finally found its way over to the #PS5 and #XboxSeriesX|S. Even more orders are going to be filled now, and more gear for our little kitty will be gathered up. As long as you have wanted to see what working in this haunted warehouse will truly feel like with a controller in hand. Maybe even with a few little extra things that those playing Order 13 from launch might have been hoping to have in the mix. I know I am one of those gamers out there.

Directive 8020 Offers Up A Full Look At The Crew We Will Get To Know

Directive 8020 Offers Up A Full Look At The Crew We Will Get To Know

A new developer diary for Directive 8020 is here, and it highlights more of the crew that we will get to play in #Directive8020

We have met some of the cast before now when it comes to Directive 8020, but only a select few. Not just a select few, but it was more of a broad stroke when it came to getting to know them. It looks as if Supermassive Games is ready to go one step further and give us a full dive into what it took to bring the characters to life, and a feel for all of the crew we are going to be playing with. Not to mention, it looks like the narrative structure in Directive 8020 might have a few extra twists and turns than we have experienced in any of the past titles in The Dark Pictures. So, that will be a full thing to get ready for when the game launches on the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, and #PC this coming May 12th. Still so much time, but we are in the final stretch.
