A new version of The Witcher 3 is now out there, as we have #TheWitcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered in the world

The remaster that was so much of a surprise to so many, #TheWitcher3: Wild Hunt — Remastered, has officially launched out there into the world for us all to play. Well, play again, as this is one of the biggest success stories that CD Projekt RED has had in a good time. I say that, as I’m not sure how many gamers out there have not already played the game before now. But, I guess, there’s always the new wave of gamers we have each day to bring into the fold and get us ready for The Witcher IV that is still on the way. That has to be one of the bigger reasons to give us the remaster so soon. Along with making sure it is running natively on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch 2 in the current state of the world. I’ll go with that option to make sure that we are not just looking at all of this as a quick little cash-in for the massive title. I mean, we’re also getting a lot more in the mix than just a new version of the game. So, there’s that.

If there is one thing that PC fans will tell you, Call Of Duty: #ModernWarfare4 is most likely going to run the best on the platform. As long as you are able to get all of the latest and greatest hardware to update your system to the specs. If you are in either camp of the PC and Console fight for the game, then Infinity Ward is ready to help show you the features that you might be missing out on if you do not go with that version of the game. So, you will have a few more weeks to make the choice of the platform and get things updated before October 23rd, when the masses will have access to Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. Also, provided that you have all of the current hardware to ensure that it will run as smoothly as possible.

The pre-orders are open now for #GodOfWar Laufey for those who want to buy the game in digital or physical form for the PS5. The game is still slated to launch on February 16th of 2027, but Santa Monica Studio and PlayStation want to make sure you are ready for it and have all of the extra bonuses. No matter which form of the game you aim to get. Even though, just as we saw with the most recent title that was released exclusively and was slated to be a massive hit, God Of War Laufey will only be giving us a standard and Digital Deluxe version of the game. Yeah, there has not been a Collector’s Edition or anything more than the physical disc option for those who might want to celebrate the IP a bit more out there. What a wasted opportunity again…

I hope you’re all ready to head into another creepy medical ward in the world, as we have Locked In: #TheWard offering up a new chance to explore a whole different one. This would be the next psychological horror title that GES Interactive is adding to the PC gaming space out there, and it looks to not only give us that kind of experience, but also one that will have us dealing with some extra stress in the game. Not because Locked In: The Ward is aiming to be that scary, but because it’s going to be giving us another way to monitor it in the game. Monitor it, but also have it affect the way we are perceiving things as we head deeper into the horror mystery that we have set in this title. Let’s have a look at just what all of that will be when it is fully ready.

 

Extract Some New Kind Of Trauma In The World With That Which Remains

Another horror extraction title, That Which Remains, is announced to the world and will have us harvesting #ThatWhichRemains

It looks as if we are going to have another reason to gear up and go out ghost hunting, as we have the announcement for That Which Remains, which aims to have us do just that. Not in a way that you might think, though, with Remaining Games and Interdimensional Games adding on a fun little twist to that style of gameplay. We will still have all of the normal gear one would expect in a game like this, just with a future edge to it all. That Which Remains will have us coming from the future to do this ghost hunting. Also, well, we might not be hunting ghosts specifically either, but more of the trauma that might have been left behind to cause such things to exist in the first place. Horror Tales Eats The World Gives Us All A Taste With An Early Access

New Horror Tales are coming into our world with the Early Access for #HorrorTales Eats The World

It’s almost spooky season, and we’re always getting ready for some great horror tales to have out there, and now it looks as if Horror Tales #EatsTheWorld will be adding more to the gaming space on PC with an Early Access. After a bit of time out there, Fatih Atacan PRODUCTIONS is ready to show us all what they have in the gaming world and put some of our fears to the test. I guess, in this case, it’s more about our ability to control those fears. I say this as Horror Tales Eats The World will be using microphones to capture our real-world levels to help guide the things hunting us down in this new “Found Footage” style of game. At least it’s not one that is working only with the bodycam footage to help bring more realism into the gaming world. We’ll know for certain on October 22nd when the game opens up for the Early Access.

 

This Week In Video Games 9/22/26 — 9/25/26

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of #videogames on the site this week

We can finally put a pin in this week and kick back and enjoy all of our video games out there. It was a bit of a slower one, in terms of news, but there were a few good things that did land. I will blame it on the many, many releases we had this week, with #SilentHill: Townfall and #MarsAttracts joining the ranks of the many others that hit this week. Even if it is time to gear up for #Halloween and the spookier games like Clive Barker’s #HellraiserGame: Revival and #StupidNeverDies, there are many other video games that will be landing in the coming weeks. So many are still coming to drive the terror into us, along with all of the other real-world immersive experiences that are on the way.
