A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of #videogames on the site this week
There we all go, with one more week in the books and so many more video games and non-video game things to cover out there. It was definitely pop culture-related and had some interactive media to it, so Universal #FanFestNights will also have a place here, just like Horror Nights. That aside, it was great to see more for the #ResidentEvilMovie come up, then all leads into titles that are launching or launched this week. Video games like #007FirstLight and the latest version of the #Darksiders Warmastered Edition certainly topped that bill. Along with so many others that I will hold off on mentioning for now, but you can see listed below.

Get ready to experience Order 13 in a new way, with the announcement that we are all going to see #Order13VR
Get ready to go back to work and take care of your warehouse cat again, as we have the announcement for #Order13 VR. A redesigned version of the game that Cybernetic Walrus brought to us by Bowl Of Tentacles for the #PC #VR platforms and the #PSVR2. All so we can play as a fulfillment center worker who is trapped in a warehouse that also has trapped some terrible beings out there. If you have seen what Order 13 has brought us all before, you will know the drill. You can also get a crash course in the basics with our review and extended gameplay for the core game. Then see that it will come to a VR setting, making our lives just a little more frightening out there.

Luna Abyss has finally launched out into the world, and those looking for some action can experience #LunaAbyss right now
The days and nights have finally passed on by, and we can now experience what Luna Abyss has to offer up on the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, and #PC. It’s been one wild ride, and now the Fates have allowed for Kwalee Labs to get the game out there to us all. At least for those who enjoy action-adventure titles with some truly bizarre-looking beings out there in the universe. Toss in a dash of bullet-hell style of gameplay, and you have Luna Abyss. But you don’t have to just take my word for it. You can see just what you’ll be able to get yourself into with one more look at the gameplay and story that it will hold. Let’s get ready for some extra bullet-hell out there.

A new horror title, Flick, has been announced and will be giving us a new #Flick gameplay mechanic to play with
Let’s all get ready to wander about another dark house using a bodycam, with the recent announcement for Flick. A new title coming to the #PC from Inqdrop Studios that will be leaning into that formula that we have seen, only this one will have a little bit of a new mechanic, those shooter games don’t. As the title for Flick implies, we will be able to flick those switches in the house to not only turn on lights, but to shift reality itself. Something that I am certain will lean further into the whole horror aspect of things, while keeping the entire game feeling fresh with each switch that we hit. It might not be much, but it does change things up just enough for us all.

Learn a bit more about the upcoming Resident Evil movie, and see just how it will be heading back to the #ResidentEvil roots
We have had a solid teaser for the upcoming #ResidentEvilMovie, and now it looks as if we get to go behind the scenes a bit more with the film as it is still getting itself settled. The film is still slated to hit theaters on September 18th, so there is still a bit of time for things to change. Although there does seem to be one element that we should not expect to change for this Resident Evil film, and that is the fact that we are getting more of the survival horror side of things than the action we have had in the past. That is not a hidden secret, as Zach Cregger has been open about it, but now we get to peek behind the curtain a little to see how that is going to be brought into this film. Let us all have a look now.

The fun of Candy Land is coming to life before, during, and after SDCC 2026 with the #CandyLand Café
Another of those famed board game properties is coming to life, with the announcement of the #CandyLandCafe. A nice little bit of fun that will get us further into the sweet fun that Hasbro has been carrying for decades now. I am fairly certain that there are very few people out there who don’t have any clue about this famed board game, so it feels about right that they are going to hit us all with that nostalgia. Even if this will be a limited engagement thing starting on July 9th and running in San Diego, CA. The reason we are even bringing this up is that, given that this is the same company that held the Malibu Barbie Café during #SDCC, and how they have run their other big nostalgic experiences, it is highly likely that the Candy Land Café will also be given the same treatment. Fun news for board gamers and those who can make it out to San Diego, CA. Not to mention, the Malibu Barbie Café did run in other towns, so this could be something that expands out further as Bucket Listers have shown they are open to doing. #SDCC2026
