Witches are taking over Amsterdam, with the recent reveal we have for #1666Amsterdam to tell a very dark tale
Things are getting a little more witchy out there, with the big reveal we had for 1666: Amsterdam. The next big title on the way to the #PC from Panache Digital Games. A studio that has been known to bring some outside-the-box thinking when it comes to their projects so far, and this one looks to be doing the same thing. Even if it does look like a fantasy game set in Amsterdam, and all about the trials that women had to go through back in that era. That’s just looking at it all on the surface, though, as there’s a lot more going on than the basic title and teases we’ve had shown outright. Let’s dig into the reveal and some of the other behind-the-scenes aspects to see if this one is going to be the next game to get hyped about.

The release window for Clockwork Revolution is now set in, as we get to see how the heist in the game will kick off the events of #ClockworkRevolution
For a game about time, it’s been a bit of time since we had any kind of good update for Clockwork Revolution. This would be the steampunk title that inXile Entertainment that has been working on the looks like a blending of BioShock and Dishonored to give you a quick flashback to it all. I’m seeing the game as being more than that, but I just wanted to make sure you were up to speed on things before we dive into the Heist that we’re going to see kick things off for Clockwork Revolution. One that we’ll also get to play out in 2027 on the #XboxSeriesX|S and #PC. Yes, it’s no longer listed as “In Due Time” for the release date, but sometime in the coming year. That’s the first big bit to go into before we see how things will play.

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of #videogames on the site this week
It has been one wild week here for video games, and we need to place a solid pin in it, or we are going to lose our minds. We have not even been able to catch up to all of the massive announcements and reveals that have come out, and there is still so much more. We had more for #StageTour coming out, the reveals and gameplay for #Halloween and #REVeronica, and then a little more for #KingdomHearts4 drop as well. And those are only a few of the video games that we had a chance to get to during the week here. There were so many that we had to just keep dropping videos on our social channels just to make sure you were not missing out. So, have a look over there if you feel like something is missing.

The legacy of A Plague Tale carries on soon, with the release date now set for #Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy
The alternate history timeline is expanding soon, with the release date now in place for Resonance: #APlagueTaleLegacy. The next little spin-off title in the IP that Asobo Studio has been working on is coming to an end, and Focus Home Interactive is gearing up to give it to us all. As long as you’re one of those players who want to know more about Sophia’s history in the world. I know I do, but I also know quite a few who were done with #APlagueTale after the second main title came to an end. Gamers are fickle, but they also know what they like. That’s why it will be worth noting that this entry into the IP will be hitting the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, and #PC on August 27th, with pre-orders open up for it all as you are reading these words.

A new saga is on the way for Senua, with a whole new title announced to bring #Senua back to us all
Just in case you thought we were all done with the saga, Senua is back and coming with a self-titled game for the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, and #PC. This would be the lead character in the #Hellblade titles that Ninja Theory has been doing an amazing job bringing to us all. Now, we are getting a third full game in the line, with more action and nightmares for Senua to face out there in this Purgatory. Even if it still feels as if all of this is still within our Celtic warrior’s head, that is a whole different thing to debate. Instead, we will just focus on the fact that a third title is on the way and for all of the platforms from launch, and not scattered over a long release schedule. #SenuaGame

New gameplay for Metro 2039 is here, and we get to see Hunter running about the dark world of #Metro2039
The teams over at 4A Games and Deep Silver are coming in strong and fast for #Metro 2039, as it has only been a short while since announcement and we are here with another big update for the game. An update that will show off the antagonist of the game, the hero of the game, a bit of the gameplay to expect, and when we might be seeing the game land on the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, and #PC out there. February of 2027 for those who cannot wait to see what else Metro 2039 has to offer. As I said, that is only a little bit of the update that we have for the game, so let us all hunker in and see what new horrors we are going to find in the tunnels. It looks as if it will not be just the human element that we need to fear down there, even if that will be a big portion.
