This Week In Video Games 7/13/26 — 7/17/26

This Week In Video Games 7/13/26 — 7/17/26

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of #videogames on the site this week

One more week in the bag, and Gods do we have a big one coming up. Even with this week doing a lot of build-up to #SDCC, we had so many video games out there with an announcement or one that is in the works. Clive Barker’s #HellraiserGame: Revival is going strong, and we had teases of what was on the way for #ControlResonant and Aliens: #FireteamElite2. A few of the video games that will be on display during #SDCC2026. Not to mention that #StageTour will have more to play with new tracks and a build out there for us all to hammer into. So much is going down, and so shortly after all of the other events that claimed all of the attention in the past month. It is an exciting time, for sure.

Adult Swim Is Bringing The Party To The Green Again At SDCC

Head back to the Green to party with Adult Swim, as well as have a look at all of the things upcoming for #AdultSwim

It is another year for #SDCC, and it looks as if Adult Swim is going to be hitting us all with the tradition we have had many times over the years. The massive fan experience is coming back and giving all who are at #SDCC2026 a little more fun with all of their favorite IPs. This time with a few new things to partake in, and many of the games that we have seen over the years. Only that this year’s Adult Swim On The Green event will be focused a bit more on #RickAndMorty, #YouClowns, and the upcoming President Curtis show that will be on the way to us in the future. All for the low price of just showing up at the back of the convention space over the four main days that the convention is going on. That would be July 23rd until July 26th. Who would not want to have some slingshot games and mini-golf to experience, with a fun new ride out there?

Head Back Into The Lodge Again At SDCC 2026 With Paramount+

Paramount+ is bringing The Lodge back to SDCC in 2026, and here is a look at all the fun #TheLodge will open up for us

It has become the tradition out there each year of #SDCC now that #Paramount+’s The Lodge comes back and gives us so many more experiences to have. This is the update that we are getting, just that, even if it looks as if most fans will be standing in the standby line to get in. Unless more reservations for The Lodge experience are dropped out there before July 22nd when the whole thing opens up to experience. We will hope that is the case, as it does look as if Paramount+ will be celebrating so many big things this year, with #StarTrek, #SouthPark, and #Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender amongst the fun that will be seen behind these closed doors. #SDCC2026

GRAFT Will Take Us Through A New Morphosis With A Dark Story

GRAFT Will Take Us Through A New Morphosis With A Dark Story

A new story trailer for GRAFT is out there, and we get a bit more of the darkness that #GRAFT will give us

Things are ever-shifting for the upcoming GRAFT, which does make perfect sense for a game called that. As long as we are transforming and surviving, it does feel just as the premise of things that Harebrained wants us to feel. I’d guess that would also go to the survival of all of the body horror that we are going to see out there, too, but that is getting ahead of things as of now. For now, we just need to focus on the new story bits that we have for GRAFT to help shape what we’re going to get when it lands on the #PC. A story that we now have a little more to dig into. Let’s have a look and see just what this new video has to offer us all. Get ready for some bloody new fun to have.

Stage Tour Will Be Rocking Us All Out At SDCC With A Few New Surprises

Those looking to experience what Stage Tour has to offer can do so at SDCC, along with a look at the upcoming #StageTour comic

Get ready to rock out at #SDCC this year, with Stage Tour taking a stage to show off the game and various other bits of fun for it all. That is the quick pitch for those following along with what RedOctane Games is headlining out there. For those looking for more, it looks as if Stage Tour is now available for pre-order for the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, #Switch2, and #PC. Although with how little we have seen of the game, that could be a tough sale for some gamers. That is where things will kick in here for #SDCC2026, as the latest build of the game will be out there for us all to experience, along with the new instruments that we are going to be playing. Those who head over to Booth #2834 will have a chance to do that, along with the bonus surprise of seeing what Dark Horse Comics is doing for the game.

Dreadmoor Will Let More Take Sail In This World This Coming October

Dreadmoor Will Let More Take Sail In This World This Coming October

A new demo for Dreadmoor is on the way to us all to allow for more gamers to give #Dreadmoor a bit more of a chance out there

For a game that is all about fishing, it sure feels as if Dreadmoor is fishing for all of our interest leading up to when the full game is going to release on #PC. We had a nice little beta for some to play around with after the last big update from Dream Dock, and it looks like we are going to have something more on October 6th for the game. Sadly, that is not the release date for Dreadmoor, but it is a release date for something. That something being a new demo that all gamers can check out to see if the fishing is going to work. Not just in grabbing your attention, but in the horror-filled world that the game is going to be set within. Yes, it is a little weird to have a release date just for a demo, but it is something for an update.

Learn What True Horror Is In Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival

Learn What True Horror Is In Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival

The latest developer diary for Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival takes us deeper into the realm of horror and how #Hellraiser shaped it

There is no denying the effect that the Hellraiser IP has had on the horror world. It changed things up a bit, added in a new nightmare character for us to freak out over, and spawned a lot of good and bad movies in the mythology. It is also the reason that Boss Team Games and Saber Interactive are getting a new game in the IP on October 8th for the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, and #PC. All with the idea that Clive Barker’s #HellraiserRevival will be taking the horror of it all just another step further. That is what we are picking up from the latest developer diary that we have, along with some new gameplay and looks at the enemies we will be thrusting chains, hooks, and spikes through. Let us all see just how the horror is made, along with the team.
