Two more of the Fighting Souls are here to look at, as we get ready for the bigger showcase for #MarvelTokon: Fighting Souls
The character guides for Marvel Tōkon: #FightingSouls just keep on swinging out there for us, and the next two will strike us all like a bolt of lightning. That is, Arc System Works has offered up both Storm and Spider-Man as the next two fighters that we get to see in action before the August 6th release on the #PS5 and #PC. Also, a nice little look at the game before we all have a chance to play Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls out at #SDCC next week. We’re going to need all of the information and footage to make certain we’re all ready for the fight. So, no more delays. Let’s have a look at the next two fighters on the roster for us.

The Alters have their expansions launching out there with the new DLC #TheAlters: Last Variable out now
Jan Scientist is taking on the new experiment out there, with the launch of The Alters: #LastVariable. The over twenty-hour expansion that 11 Bit Studios has been working to get us all has finally launched on the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, and #PC for us to experience. Not only experience, but to see how the Scientist’s life could have been altered had he gone down a very specialized path after the events of The Alters. That is part of the reason that we have four more versions of Jan added in for this expansion. Well, that and to see how things will play out as they head into The Oasis that has been found and deemed to be explorable. Let us all have a look and see how gorgeous this will be, and if we should just take up a lounging spot instead. #DLC

A new look at Control Resonant will be on display during SDCC 2026, along with many of the voices bringing #Control Resonant to life
Add more video games to the list of titles out at #SDCC this year, with #ControlResonant getting its own panel to help highlight the game before the September 24th release date that it has. It looks as if Remedy is getting fully behind it all after the last big showing just a few weeks ago, and next week, on July 25th, they will be hosting a nice panel to give us all more. More of the game, the world, and how Control Resonant will be keeping all of the universe’s narrative flowing forward. I am sure that all of the videos that will be shown are going to be released to those not able to make it out for SDCC or the panel, but for those who can, there will be some extra fun to entice you into Room 6BCF at 6:30 pm. #SDCC2026

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of #videogames on the site this week
That was a fun week with so many video games to highlight and get to look out for. Obviously, the big one had to be our review of #ACBlackFlag Resynced. Then a lot of things started to flow out there for #SDCC this year that we are going to get to cover. Games like Marvel Tōkon: #FightingSouls, Marvel’s #WolverinePS5, and #GodOfWar Laufey will be out there in terms of big video games, but there are still many others that we have yet to cover on the site. Then add in all of the other interactive media that we will have out there for those who are going to be at the convention. Gods, there are still so many more things for us to share before we head out there in a few weeks. #SDCC2026

A new video for Flesh & Wire gives us a bit of gameplay and when we can expect to see #FleshWire hitting our homes
Psychological horror has another contender on the way to the #PC and #PS5 in 2027 with Flesh & Wire. A new title that was announced a little bit ago by Running With Scissors, and now has been hit with a release window of sorts. That is a rather long span that we’ll need to look at and wait to see pan out. As long as you are in for a new first-person title from the studio that brought us all the Postal games. You already know the pedigree of titles that Flesh & Wire is coming from now, but that does not mean it looks as if it will ultimately be a bad title. Just one that will need that bit of time to make sure it is done well and we are not just getting an AI slop game out there.

Pre-orders are open for The Sinking City 2, as we get ready for the release date of #TheSinkingCity2
The city will be drowned once more, with the release date for #TheSinkingCity 2 set for August 18th for the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, and #PC. A title that has gone through quite a lot to get to where it is now, but Frogwares has pushed on, and we will all get to play the game in a month. In its base form or with all of the little extras that you might want to have when playing the game. That is where the next little update that we have for The Sinking City 2 comes in, as pre-orders have kicked off. This is usually something we do not try to press around here, but with what the team has gone through to get the game out to us, they could use a bit of that love. Love that will also land you a few little extras to enjoy as well.

A trio of PlayStation titles will be on display, with two of the upcoming #PlayStation titles having a few extras to go around
Even though there are many still out there who are not happy with PlayStation at the moment, we feel the same around here. It looks as if they will be out at #SDCC this year to push some of the titles that should still have a physical release tied to them. Well, maybe not #GodOfWar Laufey depending on when that will hit the #PS5. This is a topic for another day. That will be one of the big titles on display out at #SDCC2026, though, with two more coming and having playable experiences as well. All of which will have panels for those who want to go through the hassle of getting in. Oh, those other titles would happen to be Marvel’s #WolverinePS5 and #MARVELTokon: #FightingSouls. Both have gameplay that we can experience before their upcoming releases.
