SDCC Showcase — Stern Pinball Transformers & Pokémon

SDCC Showcase — Stern Pinball Transformers & Pokémon

We had a chance to play around with the machines that Stern Pinball brought during #SDCC, along with the newest #Transformers Pinball experience to have

At Comic Con this year, AggroGamer was afforded the opportunity to demo the new Stern #Pinball machine based on the Transformers, as well as one for #Pokemon. We tested the premium model, which is the 2nd tier as far as price and extras in the usual Stern line of Pro, Premium, and Limited. The model has the standard two flippers at the base and a single 3rd at the upper right. A feature not always common but an interesting and sometimes welcome addition is a pole at the center past the bottom flippers with a small rubber ring on it. This is a useful feature if your ball has a center “dead drop” with the ball falling in a way the flipper cannot touch it. It won’t always bounce straight back up, but it’s a fun way to potentially save your ball if you have the nerve to let it do so. Ball saves are generous, which is especially nice if you are new to it or trying for trickier shots. As always, the Stern QR code scanner is included. #SDCC

A New Psychological Horror Will Take Us All Through A New 23 Days

A New Psychological Horror Will Take Us All Through A New 23 Days

The reveal for the upcoming 23 Days is finally here, and it shows how many horrors we will survive over #23Days

Indie horror is having an amazing year, it would seem, and we just keep getting more in all areas out there. Here, we have yet another in the video game space with 23 Days coming from a solo developer at DiolProd for the #PC. That is something that most will usually not write home about, but it is an achievement, and now we have the full reveal of the game to look at. Not just look at, but also to see how things will alter and shift over the run of the 23 Days that the game will have us all playing through. I am hoping that is an in-game set of time and not a real-world aspect, as the current state of gamers might not have the attention to last that long. But, I digress.

It’s Time To Know Your Enemies Coming In Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy

It’s Time To Know Your Enemies Coming In Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy

Learn a little bit about the enemies coming in Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, and see how we will take them down in this #APlagueTale world

The little blurbs for #Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy keep on flowing out there to hype us up for the release on August 27th for the game. A little odd that Asobo Studio is only giving us little bits for the game leading up to it, but maybe we’ll have some bigger drops once it all gets closer. We can only hope. For now, though, here we go with a little look at the enemies we’ll be facing in Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy when it lands on the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, and #PC. A little look, and hopefully only a few of them, with many more to come. If not, this is going to be a very short game for us all to make our way through.

No Return Address Offers Up A New Night Shift Job For Us To Power Through

No Return Address Offers Up A New Night Shift Job For Us To Power Through

A new psychological horror warehouse game, No Return Address, is on the way to us and here is a teaser for what #NoReturnAddress will bring

It seems like gamers just can’t get enough of those job simulations out there, and now we have another on the way with No Return Address. Although this one is another of the horror flavor when it comes to the warehouse workers, so that does mean that ASK GAMES is doing more than just having us work a virtual job on the #PC. We’ll still have to do some of that, but just like other titles like it, No Return Address will have some other disturbing things going on out there. I’m going to also guess that there will be something else that is keeping us locked into the job too, as it would always be easier to just leave right from the start. Even if that would mean that there would be no game for us to play.

It Is Time To Playtest A Bit More & Try To Stay QUIET

It Is Time To Playtest A Bit More & Try To Stay QUIET

The playtest for QUIET is out on PC, and we can see if gamers can finally play a game where they need to stay #QUIET

Another alien invasion is underway out there, as we now have the playtest ready to go for those looking to play QUIET on the #PC. The first public playtest for the game has kicked off, and LINE Games needs to have us all hammer away on the game to help make sure it flows as well as it can. You’ll just need to be into the whole alien invasion, heist, and microphone capture video games out there to fully enjoy it all. Even if it does look like some of that is not as it seems on the surface for QUIET. I’m talking about the ducks we are going to play as, and the possessed human that seems to be able to hunt us all down as we are trying to make it through the whole thing. Yes, all of that sounds a bit unhinged, but we can have a better look at it all and give it a play right now.

This Week In Video Games 7/27/26 — 7/31/26

This Week In Video Games 7/27/26 — 7/31/26

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of #videogames on the site this week

We were finally able to get back into form around here and cover so many video games, and so many non-game-specific things around here. We are fresh off the #SDCC train, and there was so much going on out there that we had to dip into. Things like #StageTour and Marvel’s #WolverinePS5 for starters. Then some of the non-video games things like our interview for #DungeonCrawlerCarl and a look at everything going down for the upcoming #ResidentEvilMovie. Okay, that last one is a bit of a straddle between all of the media, but it still counts as us going outside the norm for just gaming. Not to mention one of the bigger highlights we had during #SDCC2026.

BeastLink Is Connecting Us Into An Early Access Very Soon

BeastLink Is Connecting Us Into An Early Access Very Soon

The Early Access for BeastLink is ready for us all to link into, with #BeastLink hooking us up to new kaiju

We’ve seen the announcement, there’s been a small playtest, and now it looks as if BeastLink is ready to kick off an Early Access on the #PC. The game is still coming to the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, so don’t think that Grove Street Games is holding back. It’s just not as easy to get all of this set up for the consoles. Especially when you see that BeastLink will be launching in Early Access on August 18th for the PC. Not much time to make sure the consoles are ready, while also making certain that all of the new beasts are ready for us to link into when we get into these Kaiju fights. If this is new to you, then let’s dive into what will be coming with the game when it hits the Early Access stage here soon.
