A new look at the upcoming Resident Evil Movie is here, and we get to see how it is going to link into the bigger #ResidentEvil world
The release for the #ResidentEvilMovie is getting closer by the day, with September 18th almost here for us all to enjoy the new take on the IP. A new take that looks to bring us all back into the feel of the games that Capcom gave us, and not specifically a retelling of a story. That has been the goal since the start from Zach Cregger on this one. That has left some fans wondering how it will build into the rest of the Resident Evil lore out there. Well, it looks as if we are getting a bit of an answer to all of that now, with a new look at the film just ahead of the big release. A look that will let us all know how it is going to tap into many of the elements from the IP but not feel like it is a retelling of things. Let us hear it all from the director’s mouth for this.

The Resident Evil remakes keep coming, with the official announcement that we now have for #ResidentEvil Veronica
The fans have been crying out for it, and after a solid run at remakes that Capcom has been giving us all, we are finally getting #REVeronica. This would be a remake of the Code Veronica title from so long ago for those who are not fully up on their gaming lore, even if the title should have given that away a little bit. That all said, it was revealed to us and the world that Resident Evil #Veronica will be giving this little title a new bit of life with a release on the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, #Switch2, and #PC in 2027. That is a bit of a turnaround for it all, given that we just had the recent mainline title release this year, but they do have quite a few working on the IP over there, so I can see how that can all flow out there. That all said, let us have a look at just what was announced and on the way in the coming year.

We have had a solid teaser for the upcoming #ResidentEvilMovie, and now it looks as if we get to go behind the scenes a bit more with the film as it is still getting itself settled. The film is still slated to hit theaters on September 18th, so there is still a bit of time for things to change. Although there does seem to be one element that we should not expect to change for this Resident Evil film, and that is the fact that we are getting more of the survival horror side of things than the action we have had in the past. That is not a hidden secret, as Zach Cregger has been open about it, but now we get to peek behind the curtain a little to see how that is going to be brought into this film. A teaser trailer for Zach Creggerโs Resident Evil movie is here, and it looks like it is bringing the horror back into #ResidentEvil
We all knew it was coming after a solid run of films, and now we are here with the first look at Zach Cregger’s take on the Resident Evil franchise. I mean, there is more behind this film, but Mr. Cregger is the one they are billing to help it stand out from the last run of films that the IP went through. Many of them are bad, and a few okay ones are sprinkled in. Thankfully, this #ResidentEvilMovie is not leaning into any of that, and is set as something completely original, just with the setting of the IP to help drive it. That sounds very promising, and has been since the rumors started to circulate, but now we get to see it in action. Well, we have the first teaser trailer for the film to see in action, and will have to wait until September 18th to get the final judgement out there.

The first big trailer for the Street Fighter movie is here, and it looks to take us back to the classic #StreetFighter roots
There’s been a whole lot out there for the upcoming #StreetFighterMovie up to now, including some little controversies between other IPs. It’s been all good fun with casting announcements and various other things, but now, we get to see how it is all truly coming together with the latest trailer that we have for the film. One that seems to highlight the main story and many of the fighters we have had announced before now. The excitement has built up, and now, we’re here to see if Street Fighter is going to be the film that makes up for all of the other ones we have had in the past already. The horrors of Resident Evil have launched so much out there beyond just #ResidentEvil Requiem as of now
The day is here, and Resident Evil #Requiem has landed on the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, #Switch2, and #PC out there. This title has been so anticipated, I am sure that many of you do not need the reminder that it is launching out there, but Capcom is giving it to us all just to be sure. A nice and little reminder that it is out there and the new horrors are ready for us all. That is not all, though, as there is more to the Resident Evil world out there today, and I think that needs a bit more reminding since it also dropped out there today. Yes, it is a video game and not some random merch that you can buy. All of this to make it one solid day, no matter what system you are looking to play all the games on. #RERequiem
