A Switch 2 release for The Midnight Walk is on the way to allow many more gamers the chance to play The Midnight Walk

It’s been on other consoles, and then it hit the VR space, and now The Midnight Walk is on the way to the Switch 2. The claymation title that MoonHood put together for us last year, is on the way so more can play it with Fast Travel Games getting it all ready to land again. Back in a 2D screen space, but also able to hop from the big screen to the small screen for easy movement. I guess that works out well for a title called The Midnight Walk that we will be able to also take it for a walk at midnight if we so want to. Well, on March 26^th, when it makes the leap over to the new platform. Time for us all to lace up our shoes and get ready to join Potboy.

It doesn’t sound like much is changing for this version of The Midnight Walk, outside of it being made to work on the Switch 2. That’s a given. The game did win many awards, and just looking at the videos out there for the game, I can see why. If not for the art, it was the many other aspects of the game that were brought to life. In the VR form and in the flat screen form of it all. If I had to guess, some of the visuals for The Midnight Walk have been downgraded slightly so it can run smoothly on the Switch 2, but it does look like everything else is in there. It was all sculpted and animated in a different way than a traditional title, so I am going to guess that it didn’t take too much to power down. I’m guessing it would be closer to converting sprites over instead of the highly detailed and millions of polygons that the normal models would take. If I’m understanding, how the footage for it all was captured.
