Hells, if you are one of those pro gamers that need yet another reason to wrap your fingers further around the device, then you will be glad to see this new item coming on January 23rd of next year. Here we are talking about the DualShock 4 Back Button Attachment that was announced, which will give you two more options when playing your PS4 games. Maybe the PS5 games to depending on how everything pans out for the system, but for now we will know it is only for those games currently.

This new attachment will plug into your current DualShock 4 controller and then allow you to program the touchable extra space with two buttons of your choice. Buttons that are currently set up on the front side of the controller, but in case you need to use your ring or pinky fingers for something as well. Of course, this is a nice little addition for those disabled gamers looking to use the DualShock 4 to a better degree, but the focus is on those looking to “up their game” instead. Maybe I am looking too forward in the future for this thing as it is about half the price of a current controller and allows non-disabled gamers to have the extra buttons in the back so they do not have to move their fingers. It may not be for me, but maybe it is for you.
