Connect Everything Out There With A New Demo For The Upcoming Matcho

Matcho

A demo for Matcho is finally out there so we can all see just how Matcho will play after all of this time

It feels as if it has been ages since we had any kind of update for Matcho, and boy do we have one to share today. Looking back, it has been a few years since we had a full update for this shooter and matching game coming from FiolaSoft Studio, but it looks as if we have some fun to partake in with the game. A demo has dropped out there for the PC gamers looking to experience a bit of Matcho as we wait a little longer for it to also come to the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. That would be the full game, as there has not been a demo for the consoles mentioned at this time. Either way, it is great to finally have something after so many years of silence on this one.

All of the platform issues aside, Matcho will be bringing us a demo that will give us a full story mission from the game. A mission that will take between 40 and 0 minutes to complete, while also showing off the new twist on the match-three gameplay that we have seen. This one is taking that aspect and making it part of the FPS combat, so we will need to shoot three of the same colored enemies to make them explode. Even if we can chain that along a bit more in Matcho, but that is part of the basics. I am sure that when we have the full game, we will be able to master the chains and have other tools to help with all of that. For now, we will have a small intro and demo to partake in and get us ready for the full release. Something that, hopefully, will be just around the corner now that we have this kind of update to look at.

Matcho — Play The Demo

Step into Max’s first mission near Laguna Ik, Mexico. Investigate a mysterious signal, fight alien bugs, and experience Matcho’s real-time Match-3 FPS combat: tag targets, build chains, execute combos.

This demo is a full story mission from the main game: exploration, dialogue, puzzles, collectibles, traversal, and combat in one run. Most players finish DEMO in 40–60 minutes.

MOVE. THINK. CONNECT EVERYTHING. Use double jump, wall run, jump pads, and a grappling hook to control the fight and solve environmental challenges.

If you enjoyed the demo, wishlist Matcho on Steam to stay up to date on development and launch updates.

Did you forget that Matcho was even a game that was on the way after all this time, or did it sit in your memory, making you think it had only been months since the last update? Will this demo make its way over to the consoles, or will those gamers just need to wait for the final release to get to experience the game? Where do you think this mission takes place in the story, and will it be further along than we originally thought it would be for a demo? Let us have all of that discussion down in the comment section of the page here. Now that we are getting more for Matcho, I have a feeling the news is going to keep flowing out there. The game looked mostly done a few years ago, and now that we are seeing demos, the final release has to be just around the corner. Watch the website for when that is all going to happen, along with all of our social channels.
