Darksiders Warmastered Edition Is Looking To Switch Things Up

Darksiders

The Darksiders Warmastered Edition is poised to head to the Switch now bringing the Darksiders fun to even more of the world it has destroyed

There were sightings of this yesterday but now it is official that the Darksiders Warmastered Edition is now heading to the Nintendo Switch. Now that system will be able to enjoy an amazing franchise’s start instead of watching the rest of the gaming world out there move past its third title. Not that this is a bad move on the part of THQ Nordic in the least bit, it just feels like it is a bit removed from the releases on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC by so much. This could be me though. Either way, gamers can look for the Darksiders Warmastered Edition to hit the Switch on April 2nd of this year. So, not a fool’s joke at all this time.

Not much more to say on this as there does not look like anything different will be there for this version of Darksiders. I am going to throw out the guess that they are working on bringing over the other two titles as well. That could also all be tied to how well this version sells and the interest in the games on the Switch. By now many of us have gone in deep via the other platforms so it could underperform on the new platform and leave the Switch only gamers wanting more and never getting it. I am sure that will not be the case as Darksiders is a great IP; it is just about a decade too late for some to get all caught up on and invested again.

Darksiders Warmastered Edition — Switch

April 2nd is the planned release date for the End of the World as we know it. A world without Darksiders on Nintendo Switch.

Darksiders Warmastered Edition is already available for PC, PlayStation 4, and the Xbox One and will be out on the Nintendo Switch system on April 2nd 2019 for an SRP of $ 29.99, both digitally and in retail stores.

Are you at all surprised that the Darksiders Warmastered Edition is heading to the Switch or did you think it was going to happen sooner? Do you think that there are plans to bring the other titles to the system as well or will this be the gauge to see if it is viable? Would this be your first foray into the franchise or just another way to keep playing in a mobile setting? Let us all know down in the comments and then discuss. If there is more for the Darksiders franchise, we will have it all here. Just keep swinging back in to see all of it and more.
