The original saga of Darksiders rides forward to the modern systems with the new announcement for Darksiders Warmastered Edition

The war carries on, with a new announcement for the Darksiders Warmastered Edition we have had so many times already. Given that we have a new title in the mix coming from THQ Nordic, it does make sense that we should have the original title of the game back out there again. It has been on the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC so far. Now, on May 19^th, those looking for the original Darksiders story can grab this title natively on the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Not just as an upscaling of the previous version, but one that was crafted to run on modern systems. So, now is the time to break the seals and take a ride into a fun action-adventure title from the past, or at least in May to take the ride.

Given how long it has been since the original Darksiders title came out, it would be a bit of a surprise if any gamers out there didn’t already own this version or know the IP. Maybe this is more for those who were too young to play it originally, and now that we have the next part of the saga coming soon, it is time to pull more in. All so they can see how the horseman War was tricked into starting the apocalypse and doomed all of reality. Only for him to set back out on one more ride to try to prove that he is innocent. Not only that, but to try to stop the end times from coming. All with the latest updates for Darksiders and all of the little extras that have come to light since the game came out 16 years ago. Yeah, this has been a long time coming, and soon we are all going to have a shot to see how it looks in modern times without taxing the consoles.
