A darker, heavy metal world is on the way to us with MÖRK BORG Heresy Supreme as Morbidware is bringing the tabletop game to life on the PC. This is not massive news, given that it was announced and successfully funded a bit ago. At least if you are one of the diehard fans of the game and have been watching ever since. What we do have, though, is some new gameplay to look at as it blends the world of MÖRK BORG into a side-scrolling, semi-procedural action RPG for us to survive. Bringing the game and the art style to life for even more out there who might have been curious, but a little scared. Let us have a look to see if you should be right in being scared, or feel like a dummy for not paying attention to all of this much sooner.
The first thing you will be able to see here is that the team has taken great care to bring the visuals of MÖRK BORG to life and give them an animation style that fits the brutal world we find ourselves in. Sure, it is more of a graphic novel style of things, but that adds to part of the charm of the game. From there, we get to wander through the areas that will be randomly filled along the way, while also having secret and public dice rolls happen to determine various things. Just in case your skills are not the greatest, I guess it is nice to have a random boost out there. As we head through the new world that MÖRK BORG Heresy Supreme is bringing, making the same tough choice along the way, and grinding out to our salvation. Well, as long as you can swing the swords and mash the buttons well enough, as the other option is just a quick end of life. Tough choices, but that is the world we will find ourselves in when the game is ready, or in the demo that is also available as you finish reading all of this.

MÖRK BORG Heresy Supreme brings the world of MÖRK BORG to video games as a side-scrolling, semi-procedural action RPG forged in ink, filth, and blasphemy. Drawing from the tabletop game’s infamous visual identity, the world is a violent collage of decay, blood, and apocalyptic ruin, where every screen feels hostile and deliberate. Combat is brutal and unforgiving, demanding ruthless positioning, timing, and sacrifice. Catastrophic events and irreversible choices grind players down as they claw through a dying world that offers no salvation, only survival or a faster end.
