BrokenLore: Follow
The BrokenLore IP carries on further with the release date laid out there for the prequel title, BrokenLore: Follow
If there is one small IP that seems to have something coming out all of the time, it is this one with the announcement that BrokenLore: FOLLOW is coming out there on June 1st. That is the release date that Serafini Productions has given us, and so far, they have been rock solid on hitting those timelines. At least, all based on my experience with the BrokenLore titles up to now. That all aside, this new prequel to Unfollow is slated for the date and for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Along with this new update, we also have a little bit of new gameplay to look at and see just how dark things are going to be in this new title in the IP. So many titles in so little time.
The new footage we have for BrokenLore: Follow tries to hint at the darkness with a little bit of the gameplay we can expect in the game. It also seems to highlight the issues we have with our character’s mother in the game, along with hints at some of the underlying themes this one will take. That being said, self-acceptance, bullying, and a little bit of body dysmorphia were added in. All at the proper level of darkness we have seen for the other BrokenLore titles before now. Of course, this is all to highlight the darkness of it all and help the character try to come to some level of closure with things rather than just drive the narrative forward with shock value. I hope that does help out when checking things out for those of you who might have these issues in the real world. Let’s just hope it helps shine a light on the problem overall, more than just to show off the horrors it can bring.
BrokenLore: Follow — Release Date
BrokenLore: FOLLOW has a new trailer and a release date announcement.
Follow the haunting narrative of Anne, as she grapples with issues of self-acceptance, bullying, and worthlessness while encountering metaphorical, surreal creatures that heighten the terror of her journey.
BrokenLore: Follow will be available on Steam, Epic, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on June 1, 2026.
Have you been playing all of the BrokenLore titles up to now? Is it impressive to see how many have been out there in a short amount of time? Do you think this will hit all the correct notes for the issues it is tackling? How much of a true prequel will this title be, beyond taking place before one of the other games? Let’s hear and see all of those new thoughts down in the comment section of the page here. Now that we know when BrokenLore: FOLLOW will land, we can expect there to be many more videos to build it all up. We’ll have that all here on the site and all of our socials out there, so be sure to keep checking back in for all of those updates as they come. You’ll be glad that you did.
