Guitar Hero Live
Another new gameplay feature for Guitar Hero Live has been announced in the way of premium shows that can unlock even more items in Guitar Hero Live
So far we’ve seen a few of the cool new ways that Guitar Hero Live will be changing the franchise as well as the genre of game. There are so many other things that could go on with the rhythm genre but here we are getting what are called Premium Shows for Guitar Hero Live. FreeStyleGames are trying to think outside the box and here we are getting playable concert footage or debut music videos just for the game. Not only are we going to get to play these Premium Shows in Guitar Hero Live but completing them on specific difficulties or challenges in them will also unlock other in-game things. Okay, so this isn’t all too new but at least they are trying. Or I am not fully grasping what they are going for here in Guitar Hero Live now.
As with many of Activision‘s other titles the items you can look forward to unlocking in Guitar Hero Live will be of the normal fare. We are talking exclusive Note Highways or custom Player Cards to experience or show off to the world. Also it could include Status rewards that help players level up faster or boosts that speed up the accumulation of in-game currency. All to keep your Guitar Hero Live experience ever changing and expanding. All of those completionists or hardcore Guitar Hero fans out there are going to love having so many things to come back for and to perfect right? Of course they will. FreeStyleGames at least wants it that way.
To go along with the announcement of the Premium Shows for Guitar Hero Live we also have a nice little look at the first one announced and launching with the game. It will be part of a live concert from Black Veil Brides, I’ve don’t truly know who they are, and you can see a few songs on display just below. Now if they can give me some great Rammstien, GWAR, or Cradle Of Filth concerts in the mix here for Guitar Hero Live I think I’ll be completely sold. Although that would mean that Activision would have to let a lot of M rated material to flow into Guitar Hero Live just to appease the small crowd that is me. Fingers crossed on my end and I hope they are all listening/reading.
What are your thoughts on Premium Shows for Guitar Hero Live here? Does it make a whole lot of sense to you or is this just going to be the extra grind songs we are getting to level up our game and show the world that we can be experts at Guitar Hero Live? What concert or band would you love to see land as a Premium Show for Guitar Hero Live? Let us know in the comments and hopefully FreeStyleGames will be reading to take note of it all. With October 20th quickly approaching I am sure we will have a whole lot more to go over for Guitar Hero Live so be sure to keep it all locked in here for all of those updates. You know we will have them all.
