Hades II
A new update for Hades II is here to help push the development of the game forward and get us all further into the realm of Hades
The Early Access for Hades II is raging on and players are getting to experience so much of what this title has to offer on the PC. But, what if there was more? That is what we have coming up with The Olympic Update that Supergiant Games is putting out there for the game that offers not only fixes for bugs but also some fun new things to experience in the game. Like getting to meet up with Athena or party with Dionysius on the basic side of things. Along with a lot more to further expand out what Hades II is going to offer in its full form and how it might push the genre and IP even further into the domination it had the first time around.
So, some of that sounds very basic when left that way for Hades II, but there is a lot more under the hood for this new update that is out there. Like that we will get to tame some new familiars in the game, and play around with some new allies and new abilities in the mix of things too. There is a new region that we get to explore and a new weapon to use in that region too. All as we play as the daughter of Hades a bit more and maybe even face off with her brother in the mix too. That is a little of what the following trailer for the major update is giving us. A trailer you can see just a little lower down so you can get a full grasp on what is going on. Unless you would rather just play it all live in the Early Access out there.

Hades II is a direct sequel taking place sometime after the events of the original game. No prior knowledge of the original Hades is needed, though there are plenty of connections!
As Melinoë, the immortal Princess of the Underworld, you’ll explore a bigger, deeper mythic world, vanquishing the Titan’s forces with the full might of Olympus behind you, in a sweeping story that continually unfolds through your every setback and accomplishment. New locations, challenges, upgrade systems, and surprises await as you delve into the ever-shifting Underworld again and again.
Like her brother Zagreus from the original game, Melinoë is not a character of Supergiant Games’ invention and is based on an ancient Underworld deity thought to be related to Hades. What little ancient mythology exists about her was more than enough to make Supergiant Games want to explore her story and connection to her family, and in so doing, expand on their vision of the Underworld!
Will this title be the one that pushes Hades further into the limelight or one that will simmer in the background until the full release? Did you really want to see the gods we are getting in this update or would you have rather seen some of the other less-known ones showing up? Are we going to have to face off with our sibling in the game or will that only be a small thing that builds up to little more than another of the gods messing with us?
