Indiana Jones And The Great Circle Puts On A Little Showcase For Us All

Indiana Jones And The Great Circle

A new set of footage from Indiana Jones And The Great Circle is here to place us slightly more into the shoes of Indiana Jones

Here we go with another showcase for Indiana Jones And The Great Circle to see if there is a solid reason why we cannot just let this IP be placed in a museum. Well, outside of those who are in charge are still around, and they are giving Bethesda and Machine Games a chance to fill in some of the gaps fans may have wanted between a few of the films. As long as they are willing to wait until some point in 2024 to get to experience it all on the Xbox Series X|S or PC. Not a terrible ask of Indiana Jones fans, but one that still needs a bit of convincing. That is where this new showcase is getting ready to step in for us all.

In the game, we pick up as Indiana Jones in between the events of the Raiders Of The Lost Ark and Last Crusade films for yet another Nazi-filled romp. In the new segment, we get to see here, we are also taking off to a frozen location in search of some stone that will try to make sense of how all of the wonders of the world form a Great Circle that goes all around it. Along with a bunch of the cheesy dialog and quips that were only made popular way later in the IP. A true telling of the time that Indiana Jones And The Great Circle is being made. All of this does culminate in a bit of the first-person gameplay that we should expect from the game out there along with all of the troubles of using a whip. Have a look at it and see what you might have missed so far and then hope that the teams are allowed to show off more and to a bigger audience next time.

If my description above for all of this is a little lackluster, that is due to the fact that we are more watching an Indiana Jones film here instead of getting to see how the game is going to play out. Unless that is how it is going to fully play out and only give us a few little bits of gameplay along the way. I would like to not think that is the case with the teams working on the game, but I have seen stranger things go down over the years. I also would like to know how long we will be in the frozen area of Indiana Jones And The Great Circle or if it will be a short segment before heading back to the deserts and other basic areas of the world that the films have given us already. To put it simply, I am just looking to get more of the newer locations we have not seen in the IP so far and less of the retreading of the nostalgia parts. I am not sure if that is too tall of an order to ask for.

Is this the true entry for Indiana Jones you were hoping for with this game or does it feel like we are just getting more of the same? Will we get more of these new locations and less of the dumb dialog or are they going to lean into what is popular today and ignore the rest? Will it explain how the geography of things does not make sense or is this one of those suspension of disbelief things we need to make the story work? Swing down to the comments and let the world know your thoughts about all of this. When there is anything more to share for Indiana Jones And The Great Circle, we will share it all here and on our socials. Please just keep on coming back to see it all in action and find some joy in your day out there.
