Street Fighter V
The ‘indefinitely’ canceled Street Fighter V beta test looks to be back on in the form of a stress test in your region soon
If you were over joyed to get in on the Street Fighter V beta test only to be let down when it was terminated then it is time for you to get over joyed again as it looks like it is coming back to a region near you as soon as today. Yes, it looks like Capcom is going to try it again this time in the say of “Stress Test” starting in Europe and then moving out to North America and Asia if all is successful. Then a global test for Street Fighter V sometime after all of that if things go smooth on all sides. So if you are looking forward to getting some sweet Street Fighter V action on with your PS4 and/or PC then you will still have your shot.
To go along with this, Capcom is counting this as an “added bonus” beta for all of those who have been promised the five days of Street Fighter V beta time during the global test that was canceled before. None of the time you spend on these tests will count toward the time you get there so even though this is a beta test and will be slow on the server side you will get more Street Fighter V; technically. Always need a positive spin on things when trying to get back to where you were before right? That would be on I guess but not really. Just more Street Fighter V beta tests to make sure the game won’t flop on launch day.
The first regional test will be begin in Europe on Thursday August 20th from 16:00-00:00 BST, and continue on Friday August 21st from 16:00-00:00 BST. When we are confident with the results from this test, we will share the dates and times for North America and Asia’s region specific tests, and once we have successfully completed each regional stress test, we will announce the dates and times of the official global beta test. The global beta test will still take place for the previously promised 5 days of time, so the regional stress tests are just an added bonus.
Street Fighter V — E3 2015 Trailer
This could either work out amazing for Street Fighter V or blow up in Capcom‘s face again. Of course those are always the two most extreme cases in any situation but hopefully they have enough of the kinks worked out here that it will run smoothly. I am guessing that the order of release of the Street Fighter V beta is based on the demographics from the low end to the high end in terms of players. Here’s hoping that things will flow smooth and then lead right into a great game but only time will tell. Again another constant phrase used for Street Fighter V that can apply all around no matter the title or franchise.
Does this news excite you now or are you going to just wait until all the kinks are out of Street Fighter V to give it a try? Were you all abuzz before to be let down? Are you going to be in on the first wave of testers for Street Fighter V here? We want to know and you can do that by commenting and discussing down in the comments section provided below. There is still a lot more to be revealed for Street Fighter V as well as the dates for all of the other beta tests from Capcom so be sure to keep checking in here for more on all of these things so you can be sure to be on top of your game.
