Mass Effect: Andromeda
A new cinematic trailer for Mass Effect: Andromeda has been released as well as details on this Mass Effect’s deluxe edition
Last week we were given a great tease about what was coming this week for Mass Effect: Andromeda on N7 Day. More or less we were promised a trailer for the game from EA and it was mostly left at that. Now here we are and now here we have the new trailer for the game to show off some of the great cinematography that Bioware is going to be giving us in the final version of Mass Effect: Andromeda. Sadly the release date for the game is still up in the air for Spring of 2017 but at least we know it is coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on whichever date is finally selected for the game to land. Hopefully early Spring and not late Spring.
I won’t bore you with more on the trailer here for Mass Effect: Andromeda and let you at it. Of course after it, there will be some updates on the Deluxe Edition for the game if you are so inclined to give it a pre-order.
Mass Effect: Andromeda — Cinematic Reveal Trailer
The journey to Andromeda begins now. Navigate the uncharted reaches of the Andromeda Galaxy to unravel its mysteries, discover vivid alien worlds, and lead the charge to find a new home among the stars. How far will you go to become humanity’s hero?
Mass Effect: Andromeda – Coming Spring 2017 to PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, and Xbox One.
That was pretty fucking epic now wasn’t it? It even looks like they spliced in a very little bit of actual gameplay from Mass Effect: Andromeda in there as well. Seeing as this wasn’t labeled a pre-rendered video it is safe to assume all of this is from in-game footage but only a few scenes looked to actually be player controlled and not scripted events. None the less though it does look like Bioware is crafting another amazing addition into the Mass Effect universe and it has my pre-order fingers itching to do some pressing.
Speaking of, it looks like with this video we have word on the Mass Effect: Andromeda Deluxe Edition to go along with this new trailer. Granted it isn’t much but it does look like EA is trying to give us more for the $10 price increase; there are even a few bits of pre-order bonus linked into it all. Here’s what is listed to come with the Deluxe Edition no matter the platform selected:
- Pathfinder Casual Outfit, Scavenger Armor, Pathfinder Elite Weapon Set (4), Pet Pyjak (Monkey), Digital Soundtrack, Multiplayer Deluxe Launch Pack
- Deep Space Explorer Armor: Get ready for the far edges of the Andromeda Galaxy in this unique armor set.
- Multiplayer Booster Pack: Jumpstart your multiplayer co-op play with a booster pack. Includes 5x of 50% XP Boosters.
So, it doesn’t look like the Deluxe Edition of Mass Effect: Andromeda really is coming with much more than some skins and XP boosts out of the gate here. Granted it is a bit early to have the full details on everything, so hopefully there is more to be revealed for the price increase. Of course all of those rabid fans of the franchise will have already shelled out the cash to secure their copy, but for the rest of us I’d say it would be best to wait and see what else is going to be jammed into this version for the price hike. Even Amazon only lists this little extra as a $5 value and not the $10 that we’ll be charged. There has to be more to all of this.
What did you think about the new trailer for Mass Effect: Andromeda that we had here? Does it look like this could be the greatest title they have ever produced or is it still too early for you to tell? What do you think about the pre-order and Deluxe Edition extras for the price point? Let us know your thoughts on all of this down in the comments and discuss. As more on Mass Effect comes out in any form, we will have it here on the site. Keep checking back in for more as it will certainly be coming soon.
