Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War Is Adding A Lot Of Free Stuff Soon

Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War

New content is coming to Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War in the next few weeks that will add some great new FREE things for Shadow Of War

If you are one of those thrifty gamers out there who picked up Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War without the Expansion Pass but were hoping to get a bit more out of the game than just the core stuff, then you are in luck as you now have a whole lot of free updates coming to you in the coming weeks. Some not all to huge, but some add a bit more to the game as Monolith Productions has a few new game modes mixed in for it all. Not locked to specific systems either so it does not matter where you are playing Shadow Of War currently. Is that not nice of them? Of course, it is and also a great way to keep you glued to your PS4, Xbox One, and PC to keep playing the game. Like this is a business or something.

Anyways, starting on November 21st, there will be some new and free updates for Shadow Of War coming your way as we will be getting an Endless Siege mode, which sounds like a horde mode of sorts that we know from many other titles. Only this time it will be waves of Sauron’s army rushing us. There will also be a Rebellion mode that sounds pretty generic as it will have us crushing rebel Ologs and Uruks trying to end our reign. Also, an Enhanced Photo Mode will be dropping on the same date for Shadow Of War so we can capture more of the fun and share it out there with our friends. That way we can get even more in on it all and join the war.

Then we have a slight lull as we have to wait until December 5th to get the next free update with Online Fighting Pits that brings a 1V1 online fight to earn rewards and upgrades for everything. After that on the 12th we will see a new difficulty mode for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War with Brutal Difficulty. This new mode will be harder than Nemesis in terms of combat and other numbers based things, but it will also remove the “Last Chance” part of the game, which will definitely lead to more deaths and thrown controllers after getting overwhelmed. Not a bad little spread of DLC coming to us for free here and there is a promise of more after all of that.

What are your thoughts on all of this new and free content coming to Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War here this week and in the few following ones? Will this keep you hooked back into the game for a longer stint or will you just be waiting for the DLC that you paid for to finally drop as well? How much harder do you think that Brutal Difficulty will truly be or will it just be a new way to have bragging rights in the game? Give us all of those thoughts down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. As we dig up more on Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War, we will have it here.
