Help Me!
A new horror title, Help Me!, is on the way to us all with Help Me! leaning in on some stealth play
It looks like the minds over at Madmind Studio is already working on their next horror title with Help Me! on the books now. No, this is not a subtle way for me to try to get help in the dungeons over here, but the real title for this one. All of which due to the success that the team has had and now with the ability to make more of what they want. That and to collaborate with other studios like Black Rat Studio as they are for Help Me! That is what is going on here for now with this story-driven first-person game we are now talking about for the PC.
To go along with this announcement for Help Me!, we have a slew of new screenshots to look at and a few little tidbits for the game. This is a title that is being crafted with the Unreal Engine 5 that will have stealth and puzzle gameplay elements unlike some of the others that the publisher has dropped out there in the past. All while we try to help Maxim find a missing father out there and uncover all kinds of other family secrets in Moscow. All of which sounds interesting, but does not seem to link right into the title of Help Me! as of now. I guess we will need to wait a little longer to see how it is all going to work out there.
Help Me! Is a story-driven first-person horror game with stealth elements and puzzles. The main character Maxim tries to find his missing father, and the only connection to his disappearance are the mysterious nightmares that have haunted Maxim for a long time. But the more family secrets that have been hidden for years are unraveled, the more the line between dreams and reality becomes blurred.
The game is set in Russia, Moscow, present time. The unusual setting is presented with realistic graphics using technologies such as photogrammetry, and the interactive environment allows you to explore the world of the game more.
Do you have any thoughts on Help Me! based on all of this or is it still too early to tell? Do you think this will shake things up for the stealth and horror genres or will it just give us a fun story to explore in the darkness? Is it odd that it looks like just environments to explore here or will the bigger reveals come with some new gameplay footage soon? Tell us all down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all if you so wish. We will have more for Help Me! as it comes out there. All you need to do is keep checking back here for all of that and much, much more.
