Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns
The next guest character for Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns is teased with Ghostface showing up in Mortal Kombat 1 next month
Just in time to tease us all for Halloween, we have one more look at Ghostface as the character gears up to join Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns. It makes sense that NetherRealm Studios would want to get this out there for the “scary” month of the year, but it is odd that most are going to need to wait until the end of November to be able to play as the character. In fact, Ghostface will be joining Mortal Kombat 1 fully on November 26th or on the 19th for those who have access to the Early Access. Having a horror icon drop around American Thanksgiving is a little odd, but it is what it is…
That all said, we have a nice little teaser for Ghostface to look at to get us further ready for the character to join Mortal Kombat 1. A big emphasis on the little with there being no real gameplay and a fast montage of the different “skins” the character is going to get to wear in the game. Some are based on the movie IP and some are based on characters in the Mortal Kombat IP. We do get to see a bit of a tease for what looks like Ghostface’s other Fatality in the game. A solid homage to one of the kills that did not happen in the film specifically. It is a solid scene to watch, but interesting that was the one that they went with when that character survived in the film. Maybe the Fatality in the game will play out similarly and the actual death will be something else.
