There is some new Sunset Overdrive gameplay footage showing off both campaign and multiplayer modes for the game

Sunset Overdrive has its Xbox One release rolling in on October 28^th and we’ve seen so much of the game so far so why not add a bit more into the mix. You know you want it like the mutants of Sunset Overdrive want that sweet nectar of the gods energy drink. At least that is the safe assumption here as you did click into the page to see some sweeter gameplay as the headline suggests is on the page. We will not disappoint and will include the videos just below.

If there is one thing that I have been insanely fond of with Sunset Overdrive is that the game’s narrative pulls some Deadpool shtick constantly to keep the humor and fun rolling. This is punctuated more with the scene from above playing out with the characters questioning technology and sudden disappearances to keep the game flowing well. Even if the gameplay looks a bit too chaotic at times at least the overall story looks to keep us all engaged in between all the mayhem of mutant killing and slaughter.

As for the above multiplayer for Sunset Overdrive I can say I further from impressed here. It looks like there is way too much going on to make heads or tails of it. While that is kind of the M.O. of Sunset Overdrive it just doesn’t look to play out well once we invite other non-AI characters into the mix. This could just be how the video played out more than how the actual experience will be but it looks just to hectic to draw me in. If anything at least I’ll have the campaign of Sunset Overdrive to explain the purchase.
