S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart Of Chernobyl
More of the story for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart Of Chernobyl is here with a look at how dark S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 might go
The story keeps on slipping out there for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart Of Chornobyl and here we go with just a little more to it all for us to enjoy and explore. Not any of the story that will spoil what GSC Game World seems to be building to, but more of the story to get us all hyped up for the game to come to us during Q1 in 2024. There is still a good amount of time for this developer to change things up for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, so we can try not to worry that anything but the tone and theme of the game will be on display here. One that feels might be a little darker than many would have been expecting at this point. Let us have a look at what Strider is doing for us all in this game.
Here we get to see Strider back from the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. of the past and calling out a little story that may or may not have taken place. If I am understanding all of this correctly. One that questions events and if there was a choice to kill a character from the past that was not made. I am not fully up on the lore of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. up to now, but it feels like it is going down that path with the character remembering something and watching as someone else kills a man for just existing. That person being our protagonist and point of view in the game. Again, that is my take on all of this but the video is just a bit lower down to see for yourself. Not to mention it states that there are a few puzzle hints mixed in for some out there to pick up on. Have a look.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart Of Chernobyl — Strider
You cannot kill god, just as you cannot get rid of the sky above… But their god was turned off. Hundreds were released from sinister bliss. But how many of them were asking for it?
We’ve brought a few pieces to fit into your puzzle, stalkers!
When everything boils down here for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, I am hoping that I am seeing it correctly and we will need to question not only morality but sanity in the mix of all of this. If we are misremembering events is that because of the character’s trauma or is something else going on? That might be a little too deep on my side of things when hoping for it, but that does not change the fact that was how I saw it. Again, with some limited knowledge of the lore up to now. At the very least, this was a great video to show how far S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 has come visually when looking back at some of the characters and scenes from past titles. Massive strides forward and, the very least, we can expect some fun with all of that as we get closer to the release of the full game.
What was your take on all of this for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 and should I go back and replay all of the earlier events to better understand going forward? Do you like when your video games go to some deeper places or do you just want to shoot things and kill enemies? Are you just impressed with the visual quality of all of this and how the games have evolved over the years? Head to the comments to let us know and then discuss what you wish for this title. We will have more to share for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart Of Chornobyl in the coming weeks, so please keep on checking back for those updates as we get them all. I am sure it will be a fun experience no matter what we are all looking for.
