Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5 Takes Us For A Run Through The Gameplay Coming

Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5

The gameplay for Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5 is teased out there to get us all ready for the next big run we will do in Poppy Playtime

It is finally time to step away from the ARG side of things for Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5, and run right into some of the new gameplay we are about to get. Well, at least, the PC gamers are about to get on February 18th, as Mob Entertainment needs more time to get it over to all of the consoles. That is still coming and a few months down the line. All of it is, most likely, all going to look about the same, so let’s see where this chapter of Poppy Playtime is going to take us. Not to mention, here’s our first real look at how The Prototype will be hunting us down as we slap and swing ourselves through all of the dangers that the new areas will have for us. Get ready for a wild ride.

Here in the new gameplay, we get to see just how far we have come in the world of Poppy Playtime, along with the faces of the threats we have brought down already. Four different big bad creatures, and some of them might be making a way back to help us out further, as we take on the one who seems to be pulling all of the strings out there. Most of which will have us using the same gameplay mechanics we have already, just in a new area of Playtime Co. Toss in all of the weird and horrific puzzles that Poppy Playtime has given us over the years, and we have a solid chapter on the way to us all. Even with a few new faces that you can see in the following video, we have to share. Get ready for this new run, as we only have a week now, and see just what’s on the way in the long bit of gameplay we have to share with you all.

Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5 — Gameplay

Shifting the Prototype’s hunt for Poppy into a terror-filled game of cat-and-mouse, the gameplay trailer offers the first detailed look at Chapter 5 in action. With the threat of The Prototype growing ever stronger, players will navigate new areas of Playtime Co., and make some unlikely allies in their fight for survival. With options running low and time running out, players will test just how far they are willing to go to survive.

In Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5 – Broken Things, players must prepare to face off against the deadly puppetmaster behind the horrifying events of Playtime Co. Solve devious puzzles and overcome dangerous obstacles as the true rotten heart at the center of Playtime Co. draws nearer. Traverse this new realm of shadows in a fight for survival (and the truth) with Playtime’s security system, Huggy Wuggy, in hot pursuit and separated from your only allies. Will you finally end this nightmare, or fall victim to the puppet master’s twisted madness?

What To Expect:

  • Stomach-churning terrors await you in this new section of the factory as you uncover the dark works hidden within The Prototype’s stomping grounds.
  • In this chilling new layer of the Playtime facility, you will encounter the tortured denizens living in the darkness. They may aid you in your quest to defeat The Prototype, but can they be trusted?
  • Solve devious puzzles and overcome dangerous environmental obstacles with the power of new GrabPack tools and functionality.
  • As you reach the true rotten heart at the center of Playtime, discover some of the company’s gravest sins.

Did you think that Poppy Playtime was going to change up the gameplay loop at this point? How do you think the older characters will play into defeating The Prototype in this chapter? Will this one be the true ending to the game and story out there? What other new faces do you think we might get to see in the game for the first time? Let’s discuss it all in the comment section down the page here. I’ve been excited to see what Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5 has to offer, and this was a great tease. I know we will have at least one more big push before launch, and then for the console releases. So, please keep close to the site and all of our socials to see when all of that goes live. Maybe even join us for a run through the game once we are able to get our hands on it.
