Project Scissors
Project Scissors, the spiritual sequel to Clock Tower, has had its first live action teaser released to show the theme and mood of the final game
Fans of the Clock Tower franchise may be familiar with the upcoming Project Scissors title coming soon. It is pretty much the “spiritual sequel” to the franchise. How it is only going to be a “spiritual” sequel instead of an actual sequel is beyond me as Project Scissors is being made by the same guy who directed the original series; but that is me just splitting hairs when we don’t need to. Especially since we have the first trailer for Project Scissors just a bit below.
Full disclosure before you click play, this is the first Live Action trailer for Project Scissors and not anything that shows actual gameplay. We’ll leave that topic for after the video. You know, because we all know how much I love Live Action trailers for video games. That said, here’s that trailer for Project Scissors.
Project Scissors — NightCry First Teaser
I get that this live action trailer for Project Scissors is supposed to give us a feel for the tone of the game. Although I am failing to see the stranded luxurious cruise liner aspect of Project Scissors as well as the murder mystery. Supernatural elements, even though it looks more Ringu than anything, I see but as with all live action trailers it doesn’t do a damned thing for me except to see that the marketing team is using money to remind people why they need to be paid and that the game is still being made. You know, because social media doesn’t do the same thing but whatever.
I’m still curious as to how well this whole thing will pan out given it being a PS Vita, iOS, and Android title. Hopefully Project Scissors will still hit the September 14th 2015 release date but only time will tell. Let us hope for some actual gameplay or story trailers here soon. At least before this year’s E3.
