Put The Super Back Into Supervisor On The Xbox With Dispatch

Dispatch

The full version of Dispatch is now on the way to the Xbox systems to bring more into the fold with the fun of Dispatch

Talk about a weird release cycle that AdHoc Studio has had for Dispatch up to now. Back in October, it kicked things off on the PS5 and PC, and came to an end in November. Then in January, the game made its jump over to the Switch and Switch 2. Thankfully, that was in one full bundle and not the weekly releases. Now, it looks like the Xbox Series X|S will have its run at the game this Summer, as Dispatch is finally coming over to the platform. There is still no specific release date beyond the vagueness of Summer 2026, but just know that it is coming there and to the Xbox Cloud system, so it can be played anywhere once you have it on the system. I just wish we knew why it had to be staggered out so much, given that this is a story game and easy to have spoiled in this world.

Those who have somehow missed all of the gameplay and spoilers for Dispatch, this is a choose-your-own-adventure kind of game where we are playing as an operator sending heroes into the field. We used to be one ourselves, but things happened, and we are now on the phones. We are going to need to make sure we send out the correct heroes for the missions, while also handling the day-to-day things that office politics bring up. Not to mention, the various office relationships that are always at risk. All of which was brought to life with the amazing voice cast that Dispatch was able to bring together. Given how far out the release for this might be, it is possible that we have a little expansion added to the mix for all platforms, but that is wishful thinking on our end here, and nothing has been announced as of yet. Only time and the decisions made by the team will tell.

Dispatch — Xbox Reveal

Dispatch is coming to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC (including supported gaming handhelds), and Xbox Cloud as an Xbox Play Anywhere title.

Step into the role of Robert Robertson, a dispatcher managing a dysfunctional team of misfit heroes after the loss of his Mecha Man suit.

Dispatch is a superhero workplace comedy where choices matter. Manage a dysfunctional team of misfit heroes and strategize who to send to emergencies around the city, all while balancing office politics, personal relationships, and your own quest to become a hero.

Were you able to dodge all of the spoilers for Dispatch up to now, and will you be looking to finally check the game out this Summer? What do you think was the reason for the weird release cycle, and should they have dropped all of the episodes at once from the start? Will any of this lead to a sequel or extra content to come, or was it just for the team to make sure that the game worked well for each release? Let us have those thoughts in the comment section further down the page here. When we have the final update for Dispatch, we will add it to the website for you all. Just be sure to come back and see it all, and follow all of our social channels to ensure you do not miss out on a single update.
