Skábma: Snowfall
The final console release for Skábma: Snowfall is finally here so all can enjoy what Skábma has to offer up to us
It has been a good bit of time since Skábma: Snowfall first dropped out there for us all on the PC, but now is the time that those console gamers to get fully in on the game. It has been a grueling amount of time, but Red Stage Entertainment has finally got it out for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch. I am sure they and PID Games will be glad for you to actually give Skábma: Snowfall a try and see just of the indigenous peoples represented in the game will be just that. Represented. That or just have a fun action-adventure title to explore and save yet another world out there.
If you have missed out on Skábma: Snowfall up to now, this is a new adventure that will have us jump into the shoes of Áilu, a brave young Sámi herder, who has been tasked with healing the world. Doing so will require Áilu to harness the power of a Noaidi Drum to bring balance to the spirits and elements of the world. This will also supply some extra abilities and powers for us to play with in Skábma: Snowfall too. Just as any good action platforming title will normally do out there. Have a look and see what you can pick up as of right now if you are ready to give a lighter title a try out there.

Skábma: Snowfall was always on the radar for me back when it was first announced, but it definitely fell off after it was released on the PC last year. We had a small push to announce that it was coming to the consoles at the end of 2022 but it was definitely a surprise to hear it dropped on August 9th with little warning. It does look like a lower-budget title, sure, but with all of the solid reviews we have seen for Skábma: Snowfall before now, it feels like it could be a nice break in the mix of all of the serious titles we have had up to now. Not to mention all of the others that are still to come too.
Did you remember that Skábma was still on the way to the consoles or was it forgotten up to now? Do you think the lighter nature of it all will play a better role in the fun or will it push some of us off due to all of the darker titles out there? How do you think this will alter any of the representation in video games or will it still be few and far as it has been in general? Take to the comments to discuss all of this and then more. If we have anything else to drop for Skábma: Snowfall, we will drop it on the site and our social accounts. Please keep checking there for all of those updates and many more too.
