Shoot Some Ghosts In The Gameplay For Afterlife VR

Afterlife VR

New gameplay for Afterlife VR is here to give us a taste on how we will blast our way out of the Afterlife

There has been a bit shown out there for Afterlife VR as we edge closer to the Early Access on May 13th. None of it was much to take in and know anything more for the game and the VR setting we will be getting to experience. This is why we are back with the latest that Split Light Studio to give us a better taste of what Afterlife VR will actually be. What we had already only made it look more like a virtual walking simulator in a dark and horror setting out there. I am sure that will change along the development of it all, but now we get to see how much further it has gone just before the Early Access kicks off. Even if that does mean we will have guns in the game now…

So, yeah, it looks like Afterlife VR will also have us firing guns in the game and it looks like it will be used on some living and dead beings in the mix. That is how it looks from the latest trailer at least. Maybe there will be some other reason for this beyond making sure we have something else to do in the video game setting. Even if it would have made more sense for Afterlife VR to offer up a different model for the firearm instead of a basic gun that is loaded the same way. Have a look and see what I am talking about here. Maybe I am far off from what we are going to get here, but we can only go on with what we are able to see out there. That is where some of the speculations can always go flying.

Afterlife VR — Official Trailer

Split Light Studio is delighted to inform us that Afterlife VR, a horror VR game is launching soon on Steam Early Access on May 13.

Afterlife VR is a deeply immersive horror game that will let you experience the true essence of terror.

Play as Adam Bernhard, a young rookie police officer on a routine night patrol, who receives a call that will change his life forever. Uncover the secrets hidden deep within the Black Rose mental hospital walls, where most of the patients pose a threat to themselves and to others.

Afterlife VR will remain in Early Access for approximately 1 to 2 months and would include all environmental puzzles, a fully functional combat system, and a complete sound design.

The full version of the game would launch with German, Spanish, Italian, French, and Russian translations, modified mechanics of escape from the ghost, enabling to find, collect, and storing the notes in player inventory, features/improvements suggested by players.

Did you expect to see guns and the like mixed into Afterlife VR based on what we had before or does this make sense to you? Will all of that shift over the run of the Early Access or will it be a major focus and cannot be removed along the way? Will we just need to focus on all of the horrors in the game and ignore why the rest is out there for it? Tell us what you are thinking down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all if you so wish. If we have more to share for Afterlife VR, obviously, we will share it all here. Just keep checking back on the site for all of that and much more as the days and nights fly on by.
