Swing The Pendulum & Figure Out What Is Real In The Occultist

The Occultist

Take on a new supernatural world with The Occultist as we get to see just what this occultist might be able to do out there

Well, it looks like the horror of the world will still carry on into 2025, not a huge surprise, but at least we will have The Occultist to help with all of that. No, I am not talking about the specific Hellscape that we find ourselves in right now, but the world that DALOAR and Daedalic Entertainment are building for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC for 2025. Even if it would be a nice change of pace to see this kind of survival horror out there in the world instead of the one we have now. I am getting off-topic, though, so let us dig further into The Occultist and just what this new announcement is going to offer us all when the game does launch out there. Here is hoping it is all just as dark as the fun cinematics we have to look at.

This new horror title is another in the line of first-person games coming out there that all revolve around an occultist named Alan Rebels. Alan is not only trying to put some of the talents and items to good use on Godstone Island but also to figure out the mystery surrounding a missing father. This means that Alan will need to make sure the mystical pendulum is always at the ready and collect the various trinkets left behind by the entities Alan encounters as well. All while solving puzzles and playing a messed-up version of Hide & Seek with the cultists on the island causing all of the issues out there. Here is a little bit of a look at The Occultist right now, but it is all cinematics and not indicative of the actual gameplay we will get to experience when the game drops in 2025. However, it is all created in the game’s engine, so that could be close to the graphics we will expect in the game even if we might not be taking the exact same actions.

Are you excited to see if The Occultist can stand up to these visuals during the actual gameplay or was the engine just used to make the trailer so they could use that phrase? Will we see action pieces like we see here where we will need to run from the various ghosts and trap them in special ways? What do you think the five different powers of the pendulum will be in the game and will it be more than a ward and dowsing item for Alan? Run on down to the comment section to discuss all of this and everything else that we have coming for the game. We are curious about The Occultist, so expect to see a whole lot more added to the site and everything else for it over time. I am sure you will enjoy all of it and, hopefully, the final game will be as close to what we see here when all is said and done.
