New DLC for Painkiller is out there and it is offering up a bit more of the Metal feel to everything in #Painkiller
As if Painkiller was not already heavy metal from the start, it looks like things are getting even heavier with the latest bit of #DLC that is now out there for the game on the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, and #PC. A new update from Anshar Studios and 3D Realms to pull us back into the game, while also offering up some major content for the game. More than just the cosmetics coming to the weapons and characters in Painkiller, but some new things to play with and modes to run through. Just the way we should all be celebrating this time of year. Drenched in blood and tossing bullets around without a care. It is the most wonderful time of the year, and things are more Metal as Hell, for sure.

Who does not want to have a good FPS title where our friends and we need to survive Purgatory? I do hope that all of your normal demon hunting skills are up to date before Painkiller launches on the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, and #PC this coming October 21st. It looks like there is going to be all manner of high-intensity action in the mix from Anshar Studios and 3D Realms when it does come. Not only from us but all of our friends we can convince to head into Purgatory in Painkiller to blast all of these terrible things in the face out there. An interesting ask, sure, but one that I am sure will have many others looking at all of the fun and wanting to join in. As long as they like their shooter titles filled with demons and set in a world that feels pulled right from the realm of a heavy metal album. #Halloween

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of #videogames on the site this week
We can finally put this week in the back of the books and move on to play all of our video games out there. This was one that was filled, but mostly with the horrors and smaller titles many might not normally go for. Well, if you ignore the fact that #FFTactics dropped out there and do not see #Bloodlines2 as a true horror title. The likes of #Painkiller and #LittleNightmares III graced us with a few bigger things too, but still in the vein of video games that are horror-related. Still, we had a full week, and it is only getting started with all of the releases that are about to come slamming in for the review season we are gearing up for. #Halloween

After finding out about the Rogue Angel Mode on the way to Painkiller, it is time to make sure we have a good number of friends ready to join us in the fight out there. Even though we can play the game solo, it looks as if Anshar Studios and 3D Realms have made sure that we all try it with our friends too. Even to the point that they are giving us the new slogan of “Those who slay together, stay together” for Painkiller. A little cheesy, sure. Though it is a nice way to make sure that we have as many of us out there taking on purgatory. Not only for the sales of the game, but also in terms of the fun we can have when doing it all with two friends along for the ride. #PS5 #XboxSeriesX #PC

Painkiller is taking us further into Purgatory, with a new roguelike mode designed for #Painkiller
The realm of Purgatory is getting a little larger in Painkiller when it launches. Either larger, or we are falling under the illusion of it all, with a new roguelike gameplay mode that Anshar Studios and 3D Realms will be packing into the game at launch. A mode that I am sure will have a whole lot of gamers spending more time within Painkiller than we might have expected when October 21st hits us all. That is when the game is launching out there still, so it makes sense. Just in case you missed the release date for it all on the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, and #PC, and truly don’t want to miss out on this Rogue Angel that we are going to have to deal with as well.
