It has been a bit of time between the last few games and the upcoming Styx: #BladesOfGreed, so it would make sense if you need a fun little recap of what is going on in the game’s world. I know I need it, even though I fell in love with each and played them a few times, and it also looks like Cyanide Studios thinks we deserve a recap. It has been close to nine years since the last time Styx was out there in the world for our enjoyment. Well, the week has come to an end once more, and we had some fun with the various video games and films we had announced there. Some big ones like #RERequiem and #PoppyPlaytime had some highlights. Then we had a whole lot of smaller titles in the mix with #Styx: Blades Of Greed, all to wrap with a good look at the upcoming film #TheMortuaryAssistant. Even if it was a shorter one around here, but that is on us and not the various video games out there that had something to add. I mean, some of these even popped off before the week even started, so the blame is definitely on this side of the screen.

Take Styx for a quick run before you offer up your coin to pre-order #Styx: Blades Of Greed
With Styx: #BladesOfGreed hitting the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, and #PC on February 19th, time is getting close to pre-order this bad boy. Not that there is much of a reason to pre-order digital games in the modern age, but it will help out Cyanide Studios to keep the lights on a bit longer as we wait for the game to launch. I know, a month is a long time for many gamers who have been waiting to join Styx on one more adventure in the world. That is where the other fun news comes into play here, as that wait can be made a bit easier with a new demo that has dropped out there for us all to enjoy. That might get us to send our money a bit earlier than we might have been planning, for sure.

The world of video games never ceases to amaze me out there, as this week was a lot more packed than expected for a #CES week. Not only did we get a lot to check out during the convention, but we also managed to get solid updates out to you all week. Some, like, #Styx: Blades Of Greed gameplay, #DeadByDaylight and #StrangerThings kicking off the crossover, #RERequiem getting some fun new visuals, and the fact that we will be able to play Xbox video games without the need of an Xbox soon. Yeah, that one is a bit of a wild ride to think about, and we have all of that here on the site for you.

It looks like we have more gameplay sneaking out for Styx: #BladesOfGreed just ahead of the February 19th release on the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, and #PC. Not just more, but a good chunk of a mission out there with Cyanide Studios offering up looks at the same gameplay that we have been sold on for a while, but also some of the newer things we will be able to do in this stealth game. Along with a bit of a look at how the visuals and other game aspects have been improved upon since the first Styx game dropped out there so long ago. Get ready for some new toys and new abilities, along with a look at our main goblin doing things for some altruistic reasons as well. Not something I thought we would ever see him do.

It has been a week here with the year ending and then starting back up, so we have more video games to play out there. Granted, it was a little on the lighter side as many of the teams and studios were out there celebrating, but we did have quite a few things to bring up. I mean, we saw #StrangerThings come to an end, but still live on in #DeadByDaylight, along with when we will be able to play #Styx: Blades Of Greed in this new year. A little more for #SAROS, and then a few indie games that will lead us into #CES next week. Yes, the tech convention snuck up on all of us again, and that little hype train has pulled out of the station too, even if they do not usually highlight many specific video games and more of the hardware to play them on.

Styx has gone missing in 2025, but we have a new release date for #Styx: Blades Of Greed in 2026
Those paying close attention to Styx: #BladesOfGreed might have thought that the game was set to stealth release in the next few days. Given that Nacon and Cyanide Studios had it slated for a 2025 release on the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, and #PC. Well, it looks like that is going to be missed, and we did not have something sneak out there. Styx: Blades Of Greed is still coming, only now it has a different release date. One that is actually defined better than a general year of release. All of that is to say that the game is going to be launching on February 19th, 2026. Not too long of a wait, and also not like anything was missed since this is the first fully defined one out there.
