Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns
A deeper look at the T-1000 in Mortal Kombat 1 is here as we get ready for another termination in the Mortal Kombat 1 world
We have seen a bit of the fighter already for Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns, but here we go with a much deeper dive into what the T-1000 is going to bring the world when he lands on March 25th. Well, that could be as early as March 18th for those who have picked the ability to have Early Access from NetherRealm Studios. It is always hard to say all of this for sure with how Mortal Kombat 1 has been sold for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC out there. Nonetheless, we have a better look at the guest fighter well before all of that and some hints at how the finishers of the character will be handled. Along with another look at Madam Bo helping the cyborg a bit more in the world.
Just as we saw before, the T-1000 is back in full form in Mortal Kombat 1 and with Robert Patrick listed as reprising the voice for the character. Some of the lines do feel like they could have been resampled from the original film, but given how little was said there, my guess is that it is more to the credit of the actor more than anything. All as we get to see the blob come to life using the likeness again and using all of the bladed weapons to do what a terminator is good for. Only using some of the shapeshifting abilities to drive home the Fatality more than anything we have seen in Mortal Kombat before now. That is, other characters have done the shapeshifting thing before but here it is only to pull off the iconic shot from the film more than anything. Showing they are leaning more into the film than not. I mean, they even have Max (Wolfie) coming out as the Animality in this one, so there is some fun attention to detail in the mix.

Will you be playing as the T-1000 early in Mortal Kombat 1 or will you need to wait until the 25th to get to experience that? Do you think all of the lines were recorded again or could some of them have been digitally enhanced from the original delivery to keep with the robotic structure? What do you think the other Fatality will be in the game and will it be more than a slight homage to the events of the main film? Head on down to the comments and leave those thoughts there while gearing up to discuss it all. There is still more to come for Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns down the line, so please keep on checking in for all of that and everything else that could be on the way for the game. We will update it all as soon as we are able to out there.
