Zoochosis
One more look at Zoochosis offers up a bit more of what we will be doing & experiencing in Zoochosis when it launches
There is still a whole lot about Zoochosis that many still do not know about as we are waiting patiently for it to drop on the PC. Even though we have been given quite a bit to look at for this weird horror bodycam title that Clapperheads is working on. That said, we are back to look at more and maybe learn a few things about the game from the source, not just from piecing together what we can from a bit of gameplay. All with the feel of a behind-the-scenes video for Zoochosis while also not being one of those kinds of videos. Let us dive in and see if we will get anything further out of the game for now or if we will have to wait just a little longer to get all that fun stuff.
This new look at Zoochosis does feel like it recycles a lot of what we have seen already, but it does give us a few other tidbits when not giving us a look at a real-world zoo. Like the fact we will need to get from animal enclosure to enclosure using a train that will also house all that we need for that section of the game. A great way to make sure we are not taking what we do not need into the other areas, but also a way to make Zoochosis feel like it has the potential to be more massive than it really is going to be. Not a terrible thing, but a weird precedence to set down. Maybe this will be how we get into the various endings we will be able to play out with many of them ending in bad ways instead of the happy endings I am sure most of us are going to want out there. Have a look and join the hype train for this one.
Zoochosis — Extended Summer Game Fest
Join Zoochosis lead designer Valentin Shchekin as he walks you through some Zoochosis gameplay from developer Clapperheads’ upcoming zookeeping-gone-horribly-wrong first-person bodycam horror game in which you have to fend off mutated animals infected with a parasite.
Prepare for an unparalleled trip down your worst nightmares with Zoochosis, a horror game where every heartbeat is captured through the lens of a bodycam strapped to your chest. Embark on your maiden night shift in the zoo, as routine tasks of animal care and monitoring take a sinister turn. The once docile animals are infected and are slowly transforming into savage mutants fueled by an insatiable thirst for blood.
Identify the infected animals and concoct a cure before the contagion spreads its tendrils throughout the zoo. As the night deepens, the line between survival and demise blurs. Your resolve to save the innocent creatures will be tested and your choices will shape the outcome of this harrowing ordeal. But at what cost?
Zoochosis is a spine-chilling bodycam horror simulation game where you play a zookeeper about to start their first night shift. As you strap on your bodycam and go about your rounds, you notice strange behavior from some of the animals in the enclosures, unlike anything you have ever seen. A terrifying parasite is spreading, mutating some of the animals into grotesque versions of themselves, blood-thirsty and ready to do anything to kill you to escape. You must identify the infected animals and make vaccines to cure them before the parasite spreads out of control and to the wider zoo. Unravel the mysteries of the zoo and save the animals to save yourself, as your choices will ultimately determine your ending. Will you survive the night?
Features:
- Become The Night Zookeeper: Interact with the animals, take care of them, choose and prepare their meals, restock, and clean up after them in the enclosure.
- Save The Animals!: Something is terribly wrong with the animals. Can you unravel the mysteries of the zoo and save them? You must discover the cause of the infection, create a vaccine, and cure them before it’s too late.
- Choices Matter: Which animals will you save? How will you cure them? Your decisions will be key to your survival and the ultimate ending of the story.
- Bodycam Footage: Strap on your bodycam and capture all the terrifying events of the evening. Explore the darkest corners of the zoo with a unique perspective adding a new level of tension and horror to your quest.
Did you learn anything truly new for Zoochosis out of all of this or did you just see a lot of the same again? Do you think the train will have a way to keep us from bringing other gear along with us or will the game just auto drop it all at the next stop? How many endings will we be able to get here and will there be more than one that is the true ending to it all? Take a ride down to the comment section to discuss all of this and everything else we have to offer up for the game out there. We are going to have more for Zoochosis, for sure, so please keep on checking back in for those updates and the many others we are going to bring along the way.
