Mortal Kombat X
The first 26 minutes or so of Mortal Kombat X’s story mode has been released online for all of us to spoil the game with
It looks like the internet couldn’t wait another two weeks for Mortal Kombat X to land as we now have what looks like the GDC demo that was shown to select press during the event. I am talking the whole 26 minute long section of the story that NetherRealm has shown a small section for already but in this case we have a whole lot more. Pretty much it looks like the entire first chapter of Mortal Kombat X and the entire outlying story that goes along with it. So do feel warned as this will most likely spoil quite a bit of the game well before you can actually play it.
Now that you’ve been warned do know that the story mode for Mortal Kombat X looks like it is going to be one of the most intense that NetherRealm has put out for any of their games thus far. it also looks like we are going to have quite a few more characters making cameos and hopefully be full on playable; either through DLC or maybe unlockable during Mortal Kombat X‘s core game or during the challenge towers. I can see it going either way if they are to be more than just pretty faces in the background of Mortal Kombat X‘s story.
For those who don’t want to spoil anything else for Mortal Kombat X by watching the video below, here is a list of characters that can be seen in the first bit of story that have not been fully announced to date. Technically spoilers if you truly want to stay in as much dark as possible for Mortal Kombat X. Some have been rumored for a while now though.
Mortal Kombat X — First 26 Minutes Of Mortal Kombat X
So there you have it. The first 26 minutes or so of Mortal Kombat X. That is if you chose to spoil things and not wait until April 14th to have the full game in hand. It does look like this whole bit here is more of the prologue to the story as it looks to take place in the technical past. I don’t want to give anything away but from what has already been talked about by NetherRealm it looks like this is 25 years earlier than the core of the story; maybe even the comic book. I can’t be sure as of yet but I know all things will be revealed as we get closer and pass the launch of the game.
What are your thoughts on all of this? Did you even watch the first bit of Mortal Kombat X‘s story here? Is two more weeks for the next geners too much to ask and should we be demanding more? Let us know everything down in the comments and no making threats if you don’t get your way.
