Twisted Metal
The next season of Twisted Metal will be streaming soon and we have a taste of the upcoming Twisted Metal tournament taking place
We all lost our minds when the second season of Twisted Metal was announced and we had a bit of a teaser a while back. At least, I’d like to think most of us lost our minds as this Peacock show was vastly better than most were expecting it to be. Now, we are back and looking at how things are going to progress into the next season. The season that will officially give us the Twisted Metal tournament I know some were hoping to see before. At the time, it did not make sense that we got so little of that. Now, though, it looks like the next season is going to be all about that and just what other darkness that Calypso is working up. With all of the same tone as the previous season.
You can have a quick little tease of this new season of Twisted Metal below, but it does look like we are getting all of the old racers back in and many of the other fan-favorites from over the decades. Obviously, we are getting Dollface in the mix of racers as we will for John Doe and Sweet Tooth. Mr. Grimm is hopping onto his bike it looks like and we might even get some of that supernatural side of things mixed in now too. An interesting take but not new for Twisted Metal at all. That even goes to the extra tech side of things too, with a tease of Axel near the end with a bit of a design that seems to be more realistic than just “video game logic.” So exciting and you should have that tease just below as we wait for the season to start streaming this coming Summer.
Twisted Metal — Official Season 2 Teaser
The new Season of Twisted Metal is streaming in Summer 2025 on Peacock, plus catch up on Season 1 streaming now.
Following the revelations in the season one finale, John and Quiet find themselves entering the deadly Twisted Metal tournament, a sinister demolition derby hosted by a mysterious man known as Calypso. As they try to survive an onslaught of dangerous new foes and familiar faces alike, including the murderous clown Sweet Tooth, things get complicated for John when he reunites with his long-lost sister, the vigilante Dollface.
Did you enjoy the first season of Twisted Metal or did you think that the lack of tournament was a detriment to that season instead? Will we get to see much of Neve Campbell back in the mix as Raven or will it only be a quick thing to pass us along to the Calypso side of things in the world? How will they explain some of the supernatural elements we are seeing here and will that lead us closer to the original lore of the video games than we had before? Drop all of those thoughts down in the comments and then discuss it all as you so wish to do out there. We are definitely excited to get more Twisted Metal here and expect the new season to keep things rolling on so well. That said, we will keep the news flowing for it and you will need to keep on checking in here for all of those updates.
