We Will Face Tooth & Claw Against Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War’s Feral Tribe

Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War

The next tribe of Orcs for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War is here and they are bringing teeth & claws into the mix of Shadow Of War’s big fight

Another week and now another of the tribes from Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War is brought to us to look and get ready to deal with how we choose when the game hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 10th. We have seen some great ones already and now we have the Feral Tribe joining the ranks from Monolith Productions for the game. I was pretty sure that most Orcs out there in Shadow Of War were already feral in general, but I guess these ones are going even further into the stereotype here. That and it looks like they also keep close company with all of the other horrors and beasts on Middle-Earth so I guess it makes a bit of sense. But only a bit of sense as we can never make full sense of Orcs at the end of the day.

All joking aside, the Feral Tribe for Shadow Of War is adding in a whole other faction of Orcs into the mix that we will have to deal with. Be that through the normal head chopping means or through the possessing their minds and bringing them over to our way of thinking. One way or another, they are there and I wonder if this will also move over to influence all the beasts they are known to ride with. In a demo I played not so long ago, it looked like that was possible but only in very specific instances. It was not the full version of Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War though, so anything could happen or change since then. Or even moving forward if leaving all of these abandoned beasts are going to cause a problem if they do not join the fight. You have to love that idea.

Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War — Feral Tribe

The Feral tribe, a faction of Orcs who revere the fearsome beasts of Mordor, feeding on the strength of these vicious creatures as inspiration for their own acts of savagery. In Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War, Orcs now belong to tribes, which extend their influence stemming from the Overlords ruling the mighty fortresses throughout the open world, providing a rich ecosystem of missions, exploration and a dynamic Orc society with diverse Orc cultures, all brought to life through the expanded Nemesis System. Feral Orcs live among the graugs, caragors, drakes and other monsters when they can, while adorning their clothing and armor with trophies from the beasts they’ve hunted. In battle, the Feral tribe is also infamous for roaring, snarling and rending flesh with a ferocity that rivals any caragor.

What is your takeaway here for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War‘s Feral Tribe of Orcs? Do you think they will be more than the stereotypes that we see here or will they be more like the base Orcs of the world while the others seem a little more specialized? What other tribes do you think are still out there? Let us know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss.
