New details for the My Career Mode for WWE 2K15 have been released as well as a gameplay trailer

2K Games has released new details on perhaps one of WWE 2K15‘s most anticipated new modes. For the first time ever the game will feature a true Career Mode. My Career Mode will yet players create their own wrestler and build their career the way they see fit from NXT to Wrestlemaina and beyond.

My Career will start with players creating their own superstar in WWE 2K15‘s creation suite and start their long road at the WWE performance center where you will be trained by none other then head coach Bill Demotte. In the WWE performance center players will be given a series of objectives to accomplish before being promoted to the NXT roster. If you are wondering what NXT superstars will join you on the roster 2K has confirmed quite a few including Rusev, Bo Dallas, Adrian Neville, Sami Zayn, and Corey Graves. They will also be playable outside of My Career Mode.

After proving yourself on NXT your superstar will be promoted to the main WWE roster. Once on the roster your player will start to develop alliances and rivalries with other superstars while fighting for spots on WWE pay-per-view events. Like NBA‘s my player, in WWE 2K15‘s version your decisions though out developmental and your career will impact your wrestlers personality traits and crowd reactions. Many factors affect this such as alliances, rivalries and interactions through social media. Your win/loss record will also be factor in creating unique branching story-lines and surprising twists. Through advancement players will be able to upgrade their superstars by increasing their attributes, gaining new abilities, moves and unlocking new clothing and managers.

Wow, that was a lot to cover but this has gotten me even more excited for WWE 2K15 to release. As a reminder My Career Mode will only be on the PS4 an Xbox One versions of WWE 2K15. This is quite unfortunate for those who haven’t upgraded to the new consoles yet because this is one of the more interesting new modes to be in a WWE game for years; since the closest thing we had to a Career Mode was Universe Mode. In case you missed it, check out WWE 2K15‘s feel it trailer below and check out a few screenshots from the My Career Mode. WWE 2K15 will release for the PS4 and the Xbox One on November 18th. The PS3 and the Xbox 360 version will release on October 28th.
