The Quiet Man
The release date for The Quiet Man has been set down now and we have a look at the limited edition for The Quiet Man with some gameplay
It looks like “coming soon” has now been changed for The Quiet Man as we can look to see the game on our PC and PS4 this November 1st. From announcement to launch in only a few months it does look like Human Head Studios in on the ball for everything. That or Square Enix was able to hold the secret for some time and we are all falsely praising this part of The Quiet Man. None of that changes the fact that we will be seeing this experience real soon and also seeing how the team is blending the live action scenes with the gameplay. Something we get a little more of a look at in the trailer that also came out with this announcement.
Obviously, The Quiet Man will also have a Limited Edition that comes with almost all video games as of late. One for the PS4 and one for the PC before you think that it will be a blanket version to cover all. It is also something you may be questioning too as The Quiet Man is coming digitally for each so how can there be a limited number. Well, in this case, it is limited to the first fifteen days the game is out there. All you have to do is purchase the game before November 15th and you will get a few extra digital goodies to go along with the game. Wallpapers, themes, and avatars for the game are about it. You can also see that a bit lower as well. At least it looks like it will all come to you at a reduced cost instead of an elevated one as limited editions usually do.
The Quiet Man — Beyond Sound. Beyond Words.
The Quiet Man takes players beyond sound to deliver an immersive story-driven cinematic action experience, which can be completed in one sitting. In a story that unravels across a single night, players take the role of deaf protagonist Dane as he fights his way to discover the motives behind the kidnapping of songstress Lala by a mysterious masked man.
From November 1 to 15, those who purchase The Quiet Man from the PlayStation Store will receive the base game, a PlayStation 4 system dynamic theme, and a set of eight PlayStation Network avatars. During the same period, those who purchase from Steam will receive the base game, as well as a set of seven desktop and mobile wallpapers. In addition, those who purchase within this period on either platform will receive a 10% discount.
Are you ready to dive into The Quiet Man this November or do you still need more to justify the cost and time? Does the addition of a few extra digital goodies help sell you on picking it up or will it take more than that? Do you think it will truly blend the live action the in-game well or does this trailer leave a bit to be desired on that front? Let us and the world know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. For more on The Quiet Man, be sure to stick close to the site here. We will keep all of that coming at you as best that we can.
