10 Dead Doves Is Gearing Up To Release In December To Give Us Some Horror

10 Dead Doves

We have a release date for 10 Dead Doves so we can experience some horror out there in December with 10 Dead Doves

With the winter holidays about to kick off soon, it is good to make sure we have a splash of horror in the mix to keep up on our toes and 10 Dead Doves is looking to do that on the PC. That is, we now have a release date set for the game and Duonix Studios is wrapping up their single-player narrative horror on December 13th for us. That would also be a Friday the 13th if you were not in the know. So, not only will we have 10 Dead Doves to enjoy out there, but it will be on one of those spooky days too. We can keep that war going on between the wholesome and the creepy just a bit longer, and we are always down for that around here. Let us now look into what the game is all about beyond just the mention of horror in the mix, though.

Given that this is probably the first time you are hearing about 10 Dead Doves, let us dig into a bit of what that all means for us out here. The story of it all has us backpacking through the Appalachian Trail, which is never a good thing to do, but at least Mark and Sean are doing it together to relive some of their glory days. All while trying to find one of the Urban Legends of it all known as the Ant Farm. This is when all of the strange sights, sounds, and other mysteries will be kicking in for 10 Dead Doves as we wander about and navigate what this old mountain has to offer up for the team. All as we solve puzzles and navigate to the end of the various different endings we can have out there in the game. Along with an early 2000s look and feel to the visuals too. Have a look and see if this is going to be your jam or if you will be leaving it to the side for now.

10 Dead Doves — Release Date

Duonix Studios announced its single-player narrative horror game 10 Dead Doves is coming to Steam on Friday (December) the 13th. Set in deep Appalachia where crows are dropping dead from the sky, players will face strange sights, forgotten mysteries, and bone-chilling gameplay as they navigate through the oldest mountains on Earth.

The year is 2004. Players take the role of the Most Pathetic Man on Earth, Marcus Stetson, a seasoned backpacker hiking the Appalachian Trail. Mark has pooled his resources together with his firecracker of a friend, Sean, to relive their glory days, embarking on one last mission to find the truth behind the holy grail of urban legends: a mysterious, mythical place known in whispers as the Ant Farm.

As they embark on their journey their grit, tenacity, and wit are put to the test as Mark receives a series of cryptic dream messages from a haunting, bird-like figure named The Wren. Why are the birds dropping dead? Will you solve the mystery or leave behind nothing but footprints?
