Hitman Classic Trilogy Remastered
Three of the big titles for Hitman are on the way back to us all with the announcement for Hitman Classic Trilogy Remastered
The world of assassination just will not stay in the shadows, as we now have Hitman Classic Trilogy Remastered on the way to us in 2027. Just on the heels of so many other fun things that have been placed out there for the IP, it looks as if Saber Interactive and IO Interactive wanted to make sure those who missed out on some of the classic games will have a chance to play them again on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Well, more play three of the Hitman titles again, but with many of the upgrades and changes that we would expect to have in a modern video game. That all said, let us have a look at which of the titles were important enough to be brought back into our lives in a new way.
I know we all have a different list of titles that would be seen as classic for the Hitman IP, but this new remaster is going with the first three titles in the run of it all. That would be Codename 47, Silent Assassin, and Contracts in the list of them all. A package that has been done before, but not with all of the visual updates and various other features getting dropped in to bring these Hitman titles into the modern era. That does mean that we will have a Photo Mode, and the ability to swap between the newer visuals and the classic ones from decades ago. Just for those few out there who might want to see how these games played back when they first launched. Even if these will all still keep the theming progression between the games, so we can all see how the IP evolved forward before getting shifted into the version of the IP that we have had in the most recent years out here.
