Mortal Kombat X

Luckily that is what the Kombat Kast is for before we get to the full release on April 14th. In this most recent one we had a nice long look at Mileena, Takeda, and Kung Jin in Mortal Kombat X. One is an alum and the others are new for the game. If you are a fan of the franchise you should already know all of this, but none the less we were able to dig right.

Surprisingly all of the characters actually feel completely new for the Mortal Kombat franchise. Some feel like NetherRealm is using things they learned and worked well from Injustice. Why not use what has worked well in the past right? Of course they should. I’m talking Green Arrow for those who may still be questioning my comparison. We don’t need more guest stars when we are getting them in general with normal characters in Mortal Kombat X now do we?
In addition to all of that it looks like Mortal Kombat X is also going to be using some of the fan art from the Mortal Kombat Kollective. This would be one of the fan sites that is aimed toward artist of the franchise to share their work. What is cool here is that NetherRealm is using some of this art to add in skins for Mortal Kombat X as well as some of it being hidden through the entire full game. One of which looks to be a Russian inspired Scorpion aptly titled the “kold War” skin for the character. It is a nice little addition and inclusion that all of us should be happy to see.
So what do you think about all of this for Mortal Kombat X? Are you a member of the Kollective? Let us know everything you think about Mortal Kombat X now in the comments below.
