A Harbinger Of Doom Is On Our Doorsteps With Ontotis

Ontotis

Things get cinematic with Ontotis as we get one more look at Ontotis just before the full release

In just a bit of time, Ontotis will be available for us to walk through and experience a different horror title on the PC out there. As the game says, a horror tale inspired by the age-old stuff out there but given to us with the modern gameplay elements we have grown to expect. As long as you are looking to pick up Ontotis on October 6th to give it a chance to see if it will hit those perfect notes. It is all during the Halloween season once more, so it is adding to the growing list out there. Maybe to give us a bit of a break when it comes to all of the others we have to play in the mix too.

Those on the fence for Ontotis, though, can have a nice little cinematic walkthrough of parts of the game today so you can get a better feel for what is coming. Mostly to set the atmosphere and theme of things more than show off the gameplay. That might not be the normal cup of tea you want when it comes to games like this, but it is what is out there just before Ontotis drops next week. Have a look and see the ancient horrors that will spell some extra doom in the video game space out there. As long as you do not figure out how to solve the puzzles and navigate around all of it in the first place.

Ontotis — Cinematic

IndiePump is thrilled to announce the release of a new cinematic trailer for Ontotis, the highly anticipated indie horror game set to debut on Steam on October 6th, 2023. This trailer offers a deeper glimpse into the eerie and compelling universe crafted by a solo developer, setting the stage for a truly unique gaming experience.

Ontotis is not your typical horror game. It mixes elements of traditional horror inspired by age-old legends with modern gameplay. The game places players in the shoes of Robert, who confronts the shadows of his past in a world where every corner hides a secret. Ontotis offers challenging puzzles, a gripping narrative, and choices that shape multiple endings.

The new cinematic trailer showcases the game’s atmosphere and horror theme, setting the stage for an experience that’s much more than skin-deep. Players will be pulled into an immersive, eerie adventure filled with mind-bending puzzles and a narrative rife with twists and turns. The trailer serves as a haunting invitation to a world where every decision has weight, every puzzle deepens the mystery, and every moment on screen leaves an indelible imprint.

What makes this Ontotis unique? It’s a mix of genuine horror thrills, inspired by age-old legends, combined with modern gameplay. Every aspect of the game – from the intricate puzzles to the haunting antagonist – was created carefully, showcasing the attention to detail. A world where every element tells a part of a larger and immersive story is waiting for you to dive in. Have a look at the previous gameplay trailer.

Mark your calendars! 6th October is the day you won’t want to miss. Ontotis releases on Steam. Add the game to your wishlist and get ready to take on a roller-coaster of emotions and thrills.

I know I am still on the fence for Ontotis, as I mentioned, and this clip helps just a little bit. It all still feels like a horror walking simulation for us again as we face off with another ancient evil out there. It is a trope that seems to always be fast and easy to get out there. I am just hoping that this is not the full case for this title and we see something else hidden in the mix of it all too. There have been other games out there that have been marketed as Ontotis has been so far, but with a solid twist or change we find out as we are playing it all. This is where I am hoping this will all go with just the cinematic to get us hyped for the release next week.

Are you ready to experience what Ontotis has for us next week or will you be waiting until you get the review of it all? Will there be something hidden in the mix or will it play just as many other titles like it have in the past? What kind of horror do you think we will get or will it boil down to the usual three when it comes to these kinds of games out there? Take to the comment section to discuss all of that and everything else we have. There should be more for Ontotis coming, so please keep on checking in here for all of those updates and everything else we can offer up out there.
