A.I.L.A. Aims To Tell Us Some Of The Truths Out There For Horror

A.I.L.A.

A new horror title, A.I.L.A., is announced with A.I.L.A. bringing some new A.I. horror to us all in 2025

As we head into the future of A.I., it only makes sense that we are going to start seeing more horror titles digging into all of that as we are with A.I.L.A.. This is a new title that Pulsatrix Studios has in the works for the PC in 2025. All to show us how the new technology we have out there in the real world as well as the fictional one that A.I.L.A. is building could lead us to some true terror out there. Not that we have not had many stories like this before, but this one is bringing some of those stories into our eyes with an interactive experience instead of watching someone else out there suffer. Let us have a deeper look at what is on the way with this horror as the future comes at us fast.

The story of A.I.L.A. places us in the role of a game tester named Samuel. Samuel is out there testing the latest A.I.-built game in the world that specializes in giving truly terrifying horror experiences. The only thing is, when Samuel takes off the VR headset, it is hard to tell what is true and what is only in the game space still. Given that A.I.L.A. will have us face off against horrible cults, undead warriors, put us through some torture puzzles, and many other horrible things, it does look as if this one will have all of the terror we can expect in the world. Have a look at the announcement for all of this and see how terrible the world could be if we do not keep a check on all of this.

A.I.L.A. — Announcement

Face the future of horror. Fireshine Games announced that first-person horror A.I.L.A. will bring its terrifying vision of cutting-edge technology to Steam in 2025.

Developed by Pulsatrix Studios in partnership with gaming personality and Creative Director MaxMRM, A.I.L.A. is a first-person psychological techno-horror game set in a near-future reality, where you play as Samuel, a beta tester for horror video game experiences generated by a revolutionary new fictional AI.

Survive intense, unsettling scenarios that prey on Samuel’s darkest fears across a range of horror subgenres, each with a distinctive playstyle, atmosphere, and world. Evade and outrun a ritualistic cult, engage in visceral medieval combat against the undead, and overcome hazardous puzzles, surviving gruesome horrors crafted by A.I.L.A. as the lines between the virtual world and reality start to blur…

Powered by Unreal Engine 5 and using advanced graphical technologies including Lumen and MetaHuman, A.I.L.A. is an atmospheric, photorealistic experience that immerses players deeply within its twisted worlds within worlds.

The story and gameplay for A.I.L.A. does look and sound like some things out there in the likes of V/H/S and Black Mirror for those who are into the horror space. Not a terrible thing as it is the content of the story and the growth of the characters that can make the whole thing stand out. A rogue A.I. that is altering our perceptions out there and is either working just as expected or the humans behind it have some other sinister plans instead. I am just hoping that A.I.L.A. adds to the concept of all of that instead of just giving us all a similar experience as we have seen before. Especially as it looks like we are going to have some of those fun SAW traps in the mix too.

Will you be excited to experience all that A.I.L.A. has to offer or could it be a little too intense for you? Should we be expecting something different for the story out there or will it follow the same things we have seen in the other IPs that we mentioned here? Will we get to experience all of this just as Samuel does or will it shift into a different setting for our side of things and only be in the cinematics that we see how Samuel sees it? Wander on down to the comment section to discuss all of this. There is still more to come for A.I.L.A., so please keep on checking back in for all of that and much, much more. I have a feeling this is going to be a fun ride.
